Advantages: Gentle on sensitive skin, great on nails

Disadvantages: Gritty texture, herbal smell

Liz Earle Superbalm has transformed my once weak and extremely breakable nails. I apply it every night before I go to bed, and my nails are now much stronger and healthier looking as a result. It goes on quite greasy at first, but my nails seem to absorb it after a while.

It is very gentle on my sensitive skin, and helps soothe dry patches of eczema I tend to suffer from.

I haven't found it as effective on my chapped lips - Vaseline does the job much better.

It has quite a gritty texture, so it is best to warm it up between your fingers before you use it. It also smells very herbal. This is why I to use it at night, rather than in the day.

A little goes a long way with this product, so it lasts for quite a while. Although it smells a bit funny, I have found it to be an absolute lifesaver for my nails in particular, and I couldn't be without it.

A bit too expensive for me I'm afraid.

Interesting op. I spend half my day in a stableyard, so have trouble keeping my nails intact. Pity about the price though. :-)
