Advantages: Dissolves well
Disadvantages: Changes the water colour
Now I'm not a fan of ballistics of any make. I do think that they can be quite disappointing especially for the amount you pay for them! I'm still yet to find a ballistic which suits me perfectly, maybe this is not possible but i'm certainly not going to stop my search!
I love nothing more than having a bath after a long day at work, running a nice hot bath with my favourite Lush product and a glass of wine (yes I like to indulge myself!). I have tried and tested many Lush ballistics and I have found a few that I would definately re-use but the majority I wouldn't use again under any circumstances!!
All That Jas is now a retro ballistic and fortunately I was able to get mine in my local Lush shop before it went retro. Now I have always gone for the prettiest, shiniest, glitteryist ballistic possible, which I think has been my downfall, they either leave a horrid ring around the bath, turn the water a neon colour or the glitter/ flowers clog up the plug!
All That Jas is completely different to my usual choice, it's a pale green colour which doesn't stand out, it's not eye catching, but it's blue little flower perfectly placed on top seems to draw you in, looking at it quickly, it does resemble an eye!
I placed my ballistic in the usual yellow paper bag and took in home, so I could use it that night. I ran a bath and before I could even put it in, the smell of jasmine filled the room! The fragrance reminds me of Fairy Jasmine which is absolutely beautiul, but Jas doesn't have the glitter!!
As soon as it hit the water it fizzed uncontrollably! The smell of jasmine and ylang ylang filled the room and the bath water unfortunately turned a very light green colour, this has to be my only downpoint about this!
As soon as I got in the water was velvety and rich, which in turn made my skin feel incredibly silky smooth. I can't say anything bad at this point, there was no salt trail at the bottom of my bath which is uncomfortable! I don't have really anything bad to say about this ballistic (apart from the water changing colour!), it dissolves properly and smells wonderful!
This ballistic contains the following:-
Jasmine Absolute - It is a valuable remedy in cases of severe depression and soothes the nerves, producing a feeling of confidence, optimism and euphoria, while revitalizing and restoring energy.
Vetivert Oil - calms and soothes the mind and helps to dispel anger, hysteria and irritability and neurotic behavior can also be reduced, as stress and tension is reduced. It revitalises the body and helps with mental and physical exhaustion and is also used for general aches and pains, especially for rheumatism, arthritis and muscular pain, while relieving insomnia.
Ylang Ylang - has a euphoric and sedative effect on the nervous system and helps with anxiety, tension, shock, fear and panic while the aphrodisiac qualities is useful for impotence and frigidity. On the skin, ylang-ylang oil has a soothing effect and its balancing action sorts out over-dry as well as overly-oily skin by balancing the secretion of sebum, and has a stimulating effect on the scalp which promotes more luxurious hair growth.
Overall I think this ballistic is a must for everyone!! It has a lovely fragrance and it's worth the money you pay!
Its a retro ballistic and is available on www.lush.co.uk for £2.64! Now I don't particuarly like ballistics as I said before but I will definately be buying this again!
Summary: You should buy it!
