Lush Angel's Delight

This is a limited edition soap that appears in Lush shops to celebrate the Christmas period. Whilst superior to most soap from other retailers I don't think that this is Lush's best work. I have always found that in Lush great care should be taken when choosing products. Lush has its own distinctive smell which although quite delicious is verging on overpowering. So when smelling a soap its own smell is toned down. When I went to Lush last weekend and got some of their new Xmas range because I had a voucher to spend and decided to get some of these limited edition products because I always manage to miss the special editions so thought I'd get in early this year. The Angels Delight soap is one of the nicest I've used from Lush and I love most of their soaps. It's a see through pink glycerine soap that has got proper solid soap shapes all the way through it like moons and stars. After reading how this soap smelt of jelly beans I thought that I just had to try it! Okay so from looking at the Lush website the soap is a pink colour with little stars and glitter in, possible different colours running through it and possibly another big soap star within it. My block though was plain pink with just a few little stars but that is the luck of the draw when you buy over the internet I guess! This is yet another product that was in my box of Lush goodies, kindly gifted to my by my sister last year for christmas. As I mentioned in my Snowcake review, I'm not a lover of solid soap bars. Personally I'd much rather use a shower gel or liquid soap. However, it would be rude of me not to use such a lovely gift, especially since it came from Lush. I have mentioned in several previous Lush reviews, that I ordered most of the Lush Christmas products at their forum party a few months ago, and I bought virtually everything in the range, with only one or two exceptions. One of the things I didn't buy, was the Angels Delight soap.
