Advantages: Everything apart from the stars!!
Disadvantages: Awful plastic stars can prove painful
Lush's Angels Delight is one of Lush's seasonal products and has just come back out in the shops ready for christmas time.
Packaging=
As we know Lush's products are naked as where possible and this is no exception. When you go in the huge circular soaps are stacked up with a few pre wrapped in paper ready to take to the till. If you want a smaller piece ask one of the staff they are really nice at Lush I feel and approachable. You can have a label printed out that details the item should you wish to give the product as a gift.
Appearance=
The huge uncut pieces in the shop are fantastic, a clearish jelly pink colour with flashes of occasional bluey purple thrown in for good measure. Visible are twinkling stars strewn throughout the product and also a few on the surface, you are bound to get a piece with all this in but occasionally you may get a piece that is just pink with no purple.
Smell=
As said before likened to certain jelly baby flavours, it's just a girly girl scent and smells of....pink!! Very saccharine and fruity and not to everyone's taste.
Usage=
Use in shower or bath as a normal soap. I find the product lathers ok, not exceptionally well but this is not like a 'normal' soap. Use with a sponge or wash mitt to make the product last longer.
This soap is not at all creamy or moisturising and is purely a cleaning soap. I have sensitive skin and it has not caused me any problems.
Well that is apart from the stars in the product. They spike you and feel very rough and not at all pleasant, I have to pick them out else I'll get spiked and end up sitting on them and it is most unpleasant!! Very scratchy and horrible so best to get rid of them when they start appearing, lucky there is not many and don't forget you can get a piece cut off with as few stars as possible as the staff will behappy to help you.
As I say it cleans well and is very fragrant, with a longish lasting scent to the skin.
It needs to be kept in a dryish place and preferably drained off after use, do not leave it in a little water puddle else it may go a tad sloppy.
In summary=
Well it costs £2.50 for 100g and is reasonably long lasting providing good value for money. It is not for everyone but I personally love it!!
4/10 cos of the evil pointy stars.
