I'm not normally a soap fan - in act I haven't touched a single part of my face or bod with the stuff for over 20 years. But while in the Edinburgh Lush shop at the weekend, I was looking for something to take home for my nephew who loves his baths. He also loves bananas, so Banana Moon Soap seemed the perfect choice. Like all Lush soaps, this one is made in an enormous big bar, of which you purchase a slice. They have some ready-sliced, or you can ask for it by weight at a cost of £1.40 per 100g. The Banana Moon soap had been on my wish list of Lush products I wanted to try for some time, but I had never quite got round to buying it. A couple of months ago, I managed to get a bar from the swaps section of the Lush forum, and I adored it from the moment I got it, and that's partly the reason I saved it for so long - I felt it was too good to use!! A lot of us pride ourselves on finding nice bubble baths and oils to put in our bath water. Although it’s important to me that my bath smells nice and I do like things a bit different to the norm, I also really like soaps that not only clean my skin, but look different and smell heavenly I find Dove and Lux nice but well…………………boring. I’m working my way through the Lush soaps at the moment and the company do a large range of soaps that are all that little bit different.
