Advantages: great to watch it dissolve, great colour

Disadvantages: little bit pricey, can only use once

Ok I give in, I'm gonna try some Lush products. That's what I did last weekend.

Over the past year or so, I have read so many ops on different products available from Lush. Most of them are about Lush Bath Ballistics.
With there not being a shop near to where I live, I have never felt the urge to buy anything, that's up until last week.
For some reason I decided to order some goodies just to see what all the fuss is about. Curiuosity got the better of me, after all if everybody is raving about Lush, I didn't want to feel left out.
I logged onto the site and chose four items, the Uluru Bath Ballistic being one of them.

My order came quite quickly, I think it only took four days to arrive. I tore open the package and delved through all the shredded newspaper to find my Bath Ballistic. Wow it was enormous, I could even smell it through the clear packaging it was wrapped in.
The Ulruru was apparently inspired by the sunshine which was over Ayers Rock in Australia. The colours are pink, Orange which represented the colourful rock.
It was to me, rather like an oversized cricket ball, I could have bowled for England with this beauty.
After taking the wrapper off, I felt the Ballistic which felt quite strange, I could imagine it being very powdery. I've never used anything like this before so didn't know what to expect.

*Instructions of Use*

Take off the wrapping and run the bath first. I let quite a lot of water into the bath before I dropped the Ballistic into the bath. Then all hell let loose, no wonder they call it a "Ballistic", it does just that. It goes Ballistic round the bath, fizzing away, running all over the place. I couldn't believe how quickly it shrunk, it was like hanging my husbands willy out in the cold, hee hee.
In about two minutes, it had disappeared altogether, leaving me wondering where it was hiding. The water had turned a Deep Orange, but I was di
sappointed not to have any bubbles, I feel a bath isn't the same without bubbles, and no I don't mean Michael Jacksons pet monkey.
I shouted down for my husband to tell him the bath has been Tangoed, he just said "yuk", glad I'm not having a bath in that, that's what he thinks!!!.

I got in the bath carefully, for some reason I thought it might be slippery, but no, it was fine. It did feel strange not to be surrounded by bubbles, but I suppose that's not everything. The aroma was rather sweet, to me it smelt like Sherbert Fountains from my school days.
The water felt soft and after splashing it on my legs, my skin felt soft too. It was as though, it was moisturising my skin at the same time as cleansing me. What a nice experience, I wish I had lit a candle for a more relaxing time. But I suppose I can do that next time.
I can't say if it relaxed me any differently than any other bath I've had. I think having a bath in general does you all good. Maybe it's not the ingredients but mind over matter that makes us feel good. I could use any bubble bath and still feel all revived afterwards.
So I was slighly disappointed that this product didn't make me wanna shout from the rooftops. After hearing so much about Lush, I was expecting more. Now don't get me wrong, it was a pleasant experience, but having a bath with Radox just does the same thing for me.
It didn't leave any messy residue round my bath either. After reading another persons op, they mentioned using a Blue Ballisitc and it left a bit of a mess round the bath.

I would like to tell you of some of the ingredients used to make the Uluru Ballistic.
Included are Citric Acid, Sodium Bicarbonate,Gardenia Extract,Eastern Sandalwood Oil,Orange Oil,Atlantic Sea Salt,Lemon Myrtle Oil, Rosewood Oil.

I could smell the Orange, lemon and sandalwood Oils, they were very sweet and Zesty as you would expect. The Desert Rosewood
Oil is meant to uplift your mind, especially when you are having a bad day and problems galore are building up.
The Lemon Myrtle Oil is to refresh you, whilst the Orange Oil is to revive you. Sandalwood is another ingredient in there, which calms tired minds. Sometimes I light a Sandalwood candle, just to help me relax. As I say, whether these things work or not,I'll never know, as I'm a great believer in mind over matter. But I do get lazy sometimes, and give things a try.

*Price*

200g at £1.85.

This I think is quite expensive to say you can only use it once. I think somewhere in the region of 99p to £1.35 is more realistic. But then I suppose everything is handmade and original.
If I buy anymore, they would only be used every two weeks or so, as I think they are a treat and can be quite costly if used on a regular basis.

*Have I been Transformed?*

Well sort of, in a weird way. I'm curious to try other things. I have bought some Bubble Bath, Coconut Spread and some Shampoo. I'm sure I will be doing ops about them.
Maybe my next experience will convert me, when I try Karma Sutre Bath Ballistic!!!!

They are too expensive to bath with everyday but they sound perfect for a special treat.

Looking forward to reading your other Lush ops :-)
I have tried about 3 bath ballistics, but haven't really been impressed overall.
