Advantages: Pretty, smells lovely as a bomb

Disadvantages: the petals get stuck in your bum

I am going to do something in this review that up until now I had not thought possible.
I am going to tell you about a product from Lush that I was not completely satisfied with.

I have to start by saying that I think the Lush is a great company. It is,as many of you know, the one stop shop for all those little luxuries that make a woman feel special.
I wrote a review yesterday and gave a glowing recommendation for one of the products that my husband treated me to the other day form this, my favourite shop. Today I am going to tell you about another of the treats that my darling bought for me. The category is for bath bombs, my review is on one in particular.

Titsy Tosty is one of the bath ballistic range that Lush has on offer. I bet you are sitting there in front of your computer screen with a puzzled expression. I bet you are thinking that you haven't seen this one. What if I told you that it was heart shaped and contained dried roses. There you go...You know the one I mean now don't you?

Titsy Tosty (And I have no idea why they call it that) is really pretty to look at. It is about 3 inches wide and in the shape of a heart with 7 dried roses peeking out from the centre of the heart.I think it was that that attracted me to it in the first place, that and the fact that Lush had a similar product that instead of little roses had the petals inside it. I quite fancied the idea of lazing in a steaming bath, surrounded by roses, and candles and music.

Made from Sodium Bicarbonate (for the fizz ) Citric acid, Seven Rosebuds and perfume, these little white hearts sound perfect.

Lush advertise this particular ballistic as containing a love spell, woven when they hand made each heart. The roses used were reputedly the same variety that Cleopatra used to seduce Mark Anthony. They said that the fragrance of these roses would ease tension and give me happy positive feelings.
Well I can tell you now th
at I am in dire need of some positive feelings at the moment, my life is a rollercoaster of turmoil and happy thoughts would be a welcome relief. With this in mind and with the high expectations that I had come to expect from Lush I threw my heart into the warm gurgling water that was sloshing in my tub waiting for me to enter it.

Now I have to say that the fizz from this little heart was extremely impressive. It was like dropping a dozen Elka Seltzer into the bath and watching them explode. The heart charged around the tub, spreading its fizziness as it went and every now and then releasing one of the dried roses that had been trapped within.
Ok, so far so good, time to dip my tender loins into the depths of this pool and offer my body not only to the love spell, but also those thoughts that the wonderful aromas were going to give me.

Well I have to tell you that I was very quickly disappointed. I sniffed and I sniffed until my nostrils threated to collapse and still I could smell nothing, not even a hint roses and what made it worse was that the roses, that were still closed and hard, kept getting stuck in my bum cheeks. ( Not a comfortable feeling I can tell you.) Where was my love spell? Where were my happy thoughts?
My skin felt no different and apart from the sad looking buds floating on the top of the bath, I couldn't even tell that I had added the heart to my tub.

I paid £2.25 for my Titsy Tosty, which wouldn't have been a bad price if it had done what it said it did, but it didn't and I have to say that this is the first time that I have ever been disappointed by a Lush product.

I could not, in all honesty, recommend this product to you. I really wasn't impressed.
If this is what Cleopatra used to seduce Mark Anthony then all I can say is "Keep Kidding yourself Honey, the guy must have been gagging for it"
This ballistic did nothing for me at all.

Take care and t
hanks for reading...

I love most of the bath bombs, but I hated having to clean the tub afterwards of rose petals etc. I found that putting them in a stocking (knee-high type) saved me all the trouble.

If you want sparkles, try Fairy Jasmine. It is full of sparkles...might be too much for some people as you really end up coated with them. They cover the surface of the water in a fairly thick layer.
