Advantages: Cheap as chips
Disadvantages: Smells different in the water
Flipping love my Lush products, and never have a bath without a Lush bath bomb and/or bubble bar...I got a lovely little box of Lush a few Xmases ago, 'Very Berry', containing many a berry themed product, including the Blackberry Bath Bomb...
An odd yet striking purpley, bluey mauve colour, this little bomb contains many a strong essential oil. The top note of bergamot is the first hit your nostrils receive, and this is one of my most favourite essential oils of all time due to its' huge uplifting properties; great if you're feeling a little down, ill or are suffering from SAD (as I do) or the like. A middle note of frankincense, another of my most favourite oils, provides a lovely earthy, grouding scent to this lovely product. However, the two together combine to create a whole other level of smell; a very comforting and mind-calming scent, that will linger for hours in your bathroom and on your skin.
At £2.35, this is one of Lush's middle priced ballistics, and for something containing both Frank and Berg, that is actually a total bargain. I would definitely recommend it be tried, as it does awash your body and mind with calm and tranquility, as well as having lovely more aesthetically pleasing properties, such as lovely purple bath water!!
This ballistic cocktails REALLY well with either The Comforter or Pop in the Bath bubble bars from Lush, as respectively they contain cassis absolute and bergamot, both of which will help layer the lovely scents of the Blackberry onto your skin.
So next time you're in town, give this little blue man a try, as the scent you get in store is never as good as you get at home as it is fizzing away in your bathtub, surrounding you with homely comforting scents, to calm your spirit and ease your mind....
Summary: Please give it a go if you are stressed, tired or need a bit of an uplift!
