Crowned Review Lush Bubble Bars: This blue bar brightened my blue day (893 words)

Feeling a little tired and despondent upon return from work, I decided to hang the housework and have a relaxing bath with lots of bubbles and a good book. Now, word has got around that I'm a bit of a bathroom addict, which meant a whole stock of goodies from Lush and Boots for me to open on Christmas Day (hence the "other" selection on why I bought this!). Among the pile was a 100g bar of the "Happy" bar, which is a turqoise blue with the word "happy" across the top (just in case you couldn't work out which one it was!). Now, I've taken to keeping a copy of the Lush Times (the publication that lists all their products) ...  Read the complete review

Crowned Review I WANT CANDY (1063 words)

Prior to becomming a member of Dooyoo I had never had any experience of Lush products. I had seen the shop but had never ventured in, mainly because of the overpowering aroma that you are stuck by whenever you walk past a Lush shop. However, having read so many complimentary reviews about Lush and their products I recently decided to follow the masses and participate in a bit of Lush research myself. I have always been slightly envious of the reviews that describe the ideal setting of a hot soapy bath in a candlelit bathroom with a glass of wine and a good book - I always seem to be on the go and rarely get the time to pamper myself in this manner. My ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Lush Bubble Bars: Deliciously bubbly baths (493 words)

Lush Bubble Bars Description: Brand: Lush / Type: Bath Foam / Solid Bubble Bar for baths. Available in a variety of scents. http://www.lush.co.uk For anyone who hasn't had a bubble bar from Lush before, I do think that you are missing out and that you should consider buying one, just to see if you like them, because they are a treat! They are basically a compact bar which crumbles easily under your fingers. When crumbled under warm running water, they create loads of bubbles, often colour the bathwater and smell fabulous. They come in different shapes and varieties, and new varieties are frequently introduced too, so you can try new ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Bubbles in a Bar! (1052 words)
by - written on 07/07/09 (Very useful, 119 readings)

I do enjoy a nice bubble bath and am writing this somewhat as a reminiscence as a week tomorrow my beloved bath is being ripped out and replaced with a wet room, I shall certainly miss my long baths but unfortunately age and health is catching up with me now and a shower is absolutely the most sensible option for me. Lush bubble bars are, in the main, amazingly beautiful. They are basically a chunk of dry solid bubble bath that you crumble under running water to produce masses of bubbles, more than most liquid bubble baths will provide you with. The bubble bars are then fragranced and enhanced with essential oils before Lush add either a glittery topping or ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Lush Bubble Bars: It is not soap (451 words)
by - written on 30/04/09 (Very useful, 39 readings)

I have often heard it said that Lush products are good enough to eat. Some of them definitely smell like really yummy sweet treats, whilst some others just smell too over the top and pongy. They are also presented rather well in the shops, often appearing as slices of cake, or cheese. When I first got my hands on this, my first thought was that it looked like a red cabbage which had been sliced through the middle, such was the lovely patterns swirling around. Now I am going to 'fess up here. I thought this was some sort of bar of soap at first and tried using it like this at first. I was wondering why it was dissolving so ...  Read the complete review
