Bubble Bar Slices are my favourite line of items from Lush. They are solid blocks produced in either 100g or 200g sizes. They come in a range of colours and scents.

Bubble Bar Slices are simple to use. They are basically solid versions of liquid bubble bath. Simply crumble a chunk of the slice (or maybe even the whole bar if you fancy a treat) into a warm bath with the tap still running, to create a mountain of bubbles. The slice turns the water silky smooth which in turn moisturizes your skin leaving it smooth.

A Bubble Bar Slice has 3 main ingredients- Sodium Bicarb and Cream of Tartar and Water. These 3 ingredients are mixed together along with a couple of amazing scents. They are then moulded and made solid. A Bubble Bar Slice contains enough fragrance and bubbles to last at least 2 baths.

Lush make a large variety of slices to suit everyone. Girly, pink items such as Cream Candy and The Comforter to more masculine items like Green Day and Blue Skies and Fluffy White Clouds. As well as a range of colours and scents there is a fair price range for these products. They start at around £2.10 for a 100g bar slice to £3.90 for a 200g slice.

I think that Bubble Bar Slices are reasonably priced and much better value than Bath Ballistics. The do much more and are ultimately more luxurious. They can be broken up and used in more than one bath, for example I can use a small 100g slice in about 6 baths. This makes them better value in relation to Bath Ballistics plus cheaper per bath. I use a chunk of Slice in my bath at least once a week and will never get bored of them!
