For anyone who hasn't had a bubble bar from Lush before, I do think that you are missing out and that you should consider buying one, just to see if you like them, because they are a treat! They are basically a compact bar which crumbles easily under your fingers. When crumbled under warm running water, they create loads of bubbles, often colour the bathwater and smell fabulous. They come in different shapes and varieties, and new varieties are frequently introduced too, so you can try new ones quite often, along with your old favourites.

I do have to explain that they are not the cheapest things in the world, one bubble bar costs from around £2.50 to £4.50 per bar, though one bar can create 2 or even 3 baths (though it can be nice to feel decadent too and thrown the whole thing in!). Having said that, these are handmade cosmetics using natural ingredients which are never tested on animals, so you are paying for the quality. They are also gorgeously scented and will leave your skin smelling delicious for hours afterwards.

Lush are committed to helping the environment and supporting charity, so it is worth having a look on their website where you can gain more information on the company and the products, order online or locate your nearest store. Going to the store is a great way to smell the various products and choose the ones that you like best, and you can also ask the staff any questions that you have, they are happy to help and have an excellent understanding of the products.

If you want to order online, the website does offer good descriptions of goods and ingredients and is very easy to navigate. I have ordered online several times and always had my order (which has always been correct) within 3 or 4 days. It arrives packed in popcorn instead of polystyrene so is also better for the environment!.

You can also buy gift boxes containing a mixture of products from the website and in store. These range from around £7 upwards. In addition, a copy of the Lush Times can be ordered online or picked up in store, which tells you all the latest news, along with details of new products etc.

There are loads and loads of Lush products that I could recommend but the bubble bars are my absolute favourite. They create masses of gorgeously scented bubbles and leave your skin (and bathroom!) smelling great for ages afterwards. They are not the cheapest but do feel like good value because they are so good. If you like relaxing in a bubble bath then these bars are for you, and I am hoping that I get some for Christmas!
