As most of you who have read my reviews probabaly know, I love Lush and their range of products. They are always bringing out something new and the variety of bath and body products they sell is huge. For those who are not familiar with the Lush company, they are a company that specialize in creating unique and innovative bath and body products, made from natural ingredients. I?ve never made any secret of the fact that I?m a complete bath addict. Thanks to lots of generous family and friends I had a huge Lush stash by the end of December which is when I spent my Christmas vouchers, my bag boosted by some freebies in Lush after my big spend up. One freebie was the Ceridwyn's Cauldron Luxury Bath Melt which looks quite unlike any other Lush product and smells absolutely divine. Ceridwyn's Cauldron is a clever little idea, the bath melt has whole oats embedded into it and is then placed into a muslin bag and tied with red ribbon. The bath melts that lush hand make come with a hefty price tag, retailing from the £2.50 to the nearly £4.00 mark, but with the price tag comes incredibly soft skin. I use these bath melts once every three months or so. Ceridwy's Cauldon is the first bath melt that I purchased. The bath melt itself is cream in colour and oval in shape. Quite a decent size for the price tag of £3.34. It is covered in muslin and tied at the top with a coloured piece of cord. Ceridwen's Cauldron is named after Ceridwen, the Welsh sorceror. And after using this, you'll see why. Ceridwen's Cauldron comes wrapped in a little muslin bag. You don't remove this - you just pop the whole lot in a hot bath. As the bath melt contains things like cocoa butter and oats, it smells milky and creamy and ever so slightly like sweet porridge! Unlike some of the other melts, it neither foams nor simply melts. It gets a kind of froth (think the head on beer). Slipping into this, is like slipping into a milky bath of moisturiser.
