After a recent trip to York, I decided to indulge in a little something for myself from Lush....for a change, most of my spare money goes on the sprogs, so you will understand my delight and also torment at what to buy! After perusing excessively around the small but scent ladened store, I decided that I should be practical about my choice. When it comes to Lush products there is nothing I will not try, having tried and tested pretty much everything on offer and if you are ever unsure about a product then do ask the sales assistant for a trial pot of that product because they are always quite happy to oblige and over my time of shopping with Lush, I think every product I have purchased such as a cream, lotion or lip balm has come from me trying a tester pot of it first. Yes, you lucky people are getting yet another Lush review from me. This time I'll be reviewing Coco Lotion, one of Lush's newest lotions. I received two pots of this as a free gift from my local store after spending over £100. I was grateful, but slightly confused as to why they would give away two large pots of one lotion, is it because it's a bad product...? Mmm... Lush. Admit it, Lush lovers - half the reason you buy their stuff is the way the shop smells and the bright colours of the soap heaps, and most of the other half of the reason is the cool names they give their products. Take Coco Lotion, for example. Every time I open the pot I hear Kylie Minogue playing in my head, enticing me to Locomotion my way into my day. Or Coco Lotion my way, anyhow. I actually got this Coco Lotion as part of a special offer in Lush - spend £20 and get a free product. Wanting to get the best value for my money, I chose the Coco Lotion as it was around £11! This product promises to moisturise your skin and make you feel like you have "just come from the Caribbean". Sure enough the thick, white lotion smells very fresh, you can definitely smell the coconut and you get a hint of pineapple too.
