Advantages: Feels good, smells good, just all-round good.
Disadvantages: If you like your lotion smelly, this isn't for you
Mmm... Lush. Admit it, Lush lovers - half the reason you buy their stuff is the way the shop smells and the bright colours of the soap heaps, and most of the other half of the reason is the cool names they give their products.
Take Coco Lotion, for example. Every time I open the pot I hear Kylie Minogue playing in my head, enticing me to Locomotion my way into my day. Or Coco Lotion my way, anyhow.
Packaged in Lush's typical black pots, Coco Lotion has a gentle and creamy smell. Unlike some Lush products, the scent is not overpowering - a downside if you like the strong scents, but an upside if you don't like your lotion to overpower the smell of other cosmetic products you wear. The lotion scoops cleanly out of the tub, and feels smooth & slippery... much as you would expect a body lotion to feel, I guess. It's easy to get a just-right sized dollop of cream. It spreads easily on the skin - a little goes a long way, as a good body cream should. It soaks in quickly, and doesn't leave a residue on your skin or marks on your clothes. And most importantly, it does what it's meant to - leaves my skin smooth and soft and generally lovely.
I really like this product. I am an established (and unashamed!) Lush-lover, and Coco Lotion has officially made my absolute-favourite list... and not just because the name makes music play in my head. I'm singing it right now. And you know you want to... come on now, do-ooo the cocolotion with me-eee...
Summary: This is what I'll be lotioning with from now on.
