Having tried and tested the Dreamtime bath melt and posted up a review, I thought it was time to try the Dreamtime Temple Balm. For the past 4 years I have had severe sleeping problems. It would take me anywhere up to 3 hours to drop off to sleep and even then I would wake up every hour or so, until about 7 in the morning when I'd about given up and just stayed awake. I'd tried all sorts, ranging from natural remedy tablets, having a hot drink and bath before bed, exercising more in the day, tablets prescribed by the doctors and none of these did the trick. So after much deliberation and out of desperation for a proper night's sleep, I remembered ... Read the complete review

I'm starting a new job soon so am feeling a bit nervous and do have trouble sleeping a lot more than usual lately so when I popped into my local Lush shop this morning, I decided to buy a tin of this dreamtime temple balm as I can use all the help I can get! This little tin is the same size of their lip balms and this is meant to be rubbed onto your temples so you can feel more relaxed as you inhale the essential oils. This tin costs £4.16 for 10g, which isn't too bad. The balm is quite hard and not too soft or runny so it should hopefully last me quite a while. So here's the situation. I'm in Lush spending not even for myself, and I get to the till and they tell me if I spend £7 more I get a free goodie bag. I don't want to miss out but out of the corner of my eye I can see the fella sat disgruntled on a bench outside. He's not checking his watch every two seconds, but he may as well be. I'm on a strict time limit, how do I decide what to buy? I kill two birds with one stone by spending the extra money on things for my boyfriend. What?? Lush stuff for the anti-Lush bloke?? Surely not. If only I can make him love Lush though, we could spend our weekends happily strolling around the Lush shop, perhaps stopping to pick ... Read the complete review

This is a little pot - of lip balm size - full of what is basically a solid perfume under a different name. Dreamtime smells just like the bath melt of the same name, it is a very soothing blend of ginger and sandalwood designed to help you relax. The bath melt is great for this as whenever I use it I am asleep within minutes of getting into bed, so I was expecting great things from the balm. It did smell just like the melt so I duly rubbed it on my temples. The smell was nice but not overpowering and the balm rubbed in to my skin easily and didn't leave a sticky residue. I was disappointed though because it didn't seem to ... Read the complete review
