Advantages: feels lovely on your skin!

Disadvantages: a bit pricey and plain looking

This Lush buttercream is probably the most uninspiring of the buttercream range but don't let its appearence put you off! In the review picture it comes with a litle leaf on top but in reality you arel iablt to get a big slice or lump of a creamy colour product with tiny small bits of "something" in it. This "something" well i'm not entirely sure what that is but from looking at the ingredients I think it might be cocoa butter although I could be wrong! The smell is rather similar to vanilla ice cream but it is nowhere near as asweet as your average tub of Wall's! it is a pleasent smell though and no one I find off putting.

However the real thing that sells this product to me and means that I will buy it again and again is the texture! oooh I just love it! Once you are in your bath or shower and the buttercream hits your warm skin it starts to soften and melt. It goes all fudgey and squidgey and is a total delight to use. I have never used anything like it in the bathroom! However this does mean that it gets used up quick- real quick!

A £2.60 slab will only last me 2/3 baths- 2 if i'm being greed! Although I guess if you compare the cot of this to a bath ballistic it is not that bad. Once it is on your skin it is indeed very creamy and moisturising and the scent lingers on your skin for a good few hours afterwards which I always appreciate in my bath/shower products.

This in many ways is very similar to heavnely bodies. I has exactly the same texture just a ddifferent smell, so if you love that you really should give this a go!

Summary: I love this buttercream and will be back for more!
