I am partial to a bit of foot care every now and then. My poor feet do get a bit of a battering due to my lifestyle of walking bare feet, working in a shop and being a drama student...So I turned to Lush for help with my nasty dry foot skin, and I was pleasantly surprised...

I have tried both of Lush's foot lotions, Fair Trade Foot and Pied de Pepper, a slightly more spicy lotion. This one, the FTF, is a nice tingly miny pot of foot smoothing goodness. Its' pink tinge makes it all the more fun to use, and it does do a good job of softening your little piggies.

It contains many lovely natural ingredents, including spearmint and peppermint oils to stimulate and de-stink your tootsies, almond oil and fairtrade cocoa butter to soften and smoothe, and tagetes oil to get rid of bacteria and fight off infections eg athlete's foot. I

t does work best after a lovely foot soak or bath, and is great used in conjuction with all of the other Lush foot products eg the foot scrub Running to the Embassy and a spot of Lemony Flutter on the extra hard patches. I would recommend a lovely warm Avobath foot bath before applying your lotion aswell; this is great after a hard days' work or a session in the gym.

The lotion is quite light, which can be a plus, but it can get a bit watery at times. Make sure you mix it up periodically, as it lasts such a long time that eventually it can separate. At £7.59, this is a great value product and is definitely worth a try. Your feet will thank you for it!
