Advantages: Smells lovely, doesn't dry out your hands, nice colour

Disadvantages: very strong smell which does fill your house.

To be honest, I wasn't a lush fan until recently, I found the overwhelming smell that came from the store nauseating and couldn't spend more then 2 minutes in here without feeling the need to gag. That was until last week when I discovered 'The Lush Man'. That was me cured. Since when did lush employ rather fine looking hotties?! Well anyway, that was me sorted for my mums mother's day present and a fine and dandy present that was.
'The Godmother' is a pink and purpley- reddy- brown colour, it weighs approximately 100g and when I bought it, it was on sale for £2.45.
The synopsis in the 'Lush Times' says:
'Keep The Godmother by the kitchen sink to save you from yourself when you are tempted to wash your hands with washing up liquid, as 68% of people in the UK do! That stuff exists to get burnt ogg casserole off your pyrex, not to clean your lttle mitts! Only go near it when you're safely protected with rubber gloves. Mo, our own godmother of soap, scented it with our sweet Snow Fairy scent to tempt you back to taking care of yourself.'
I, personally have found that my mother keeps it by the bathroom sink, which I use the most and therefore my hands know all about this soap. Its so strong I can smell it from my bedroo, but its not the bad, nauseating smell I get from just walking past the lush shop, oh no, its a lovely smell. I have accidently just got a blob on my nose from trying to determine how to describe its scent , ok just did it again, I am seriously lacking in hand-eye coordination skills! It sort of smells like when you were little and you'd get rose petals out of the garden and try to make perfume with them but stronger. Its very berry-like in smell and colour. It doesn't make your hands feel sticky despite the smell and despite the colour, it comes off clear on your hands. My mum split her soap into three and spreadit between our 3 bathrooms and so far its lasted 3 weeks, I think, due to the fact there is a large chunk left and the fact that it is used regularly, it should last for about another 2 weeks ( the third that is in my bathroom).
Unlike your traditional soaps, it doesn't leave your hands feeling dry afterwards and is handmade. It is also appropriate for Vegans and can be bought via the website (www.lush.com), store, by phone (01202 668545) and by post.
Over sniffing of this product, like over eating rich chocolate, has made me feel a little ill like when you walk past the store and get the over powering wafts but the smell is quite pleasant.
I found my service in the lush shop to be most excellent (not in a sexual way!), I was allowed to browse at my own leisure (almost put pleasure then freudian slip or what?!) and was only approached by the young man when I was comparing two of the soaps and was asked if I needed any help, I did not need help and said I was going to take both of the soaps, he then carried them to the till for me, wrapped them, put them in a bag, I paid, and off I went to the bus station to prevent any impulse buying. An all round very enjoyable shopping experience.

Summary: I'd buy it again, not only so see 'The Lush Man' xD

Good review but a bit hard to read, you might want to try some spacing between paragraphs :-)
