Not so Happy soap (Lush Happy Soap)

Advantages: Complements perfume well, doesn't leave skin dry

Last year I treated myself to a Lush box for my birthday. Being a huge Lush fan this is a real treat for me, I am more of a shower person so a shower related box was perfect for. I chose Shiny Happy people which contain the Happy Soap.

My soap was round in shape with a smiley face on it. It is orange in colour and is transparent. I was quite surprised how rock solid this soap is. I used it in the shower. The smell reminds me of mens aftershave, it is very masculine. It is supposed to be a orangey scent but I found it didn't smell like that at all.

However after my shower I felt fresh and a lot more cheerful that I did going into the shower. The soap did not dry my skin and the scent was still quite prominent on my skin during the day. I found this soap complemented my perfume very well. I have a few perfumes with jasmin and it complemented it perfectly.

I must admit being a Lush fan I had high hopes for this product and it completely dashed them. Everything else in the box is really nice I felt this product was put in to use up the products that they had left over in stock.

Summary: Disappointing
