I love Lush, and can easily spend hours in their addictive store smelling products, getting recommendations for my skin type and picking up tips and for just over a year now I have been slowly working my way through everything they ever dreamt up. Lush like to make their products solid to cut down on packaging so the Massage Bar is a solid version of massage oils. This is done by using cocoa, coconut and shea butters as a base. To use these bars you simply rub it between your hands until it melts and then use it like massage oils. I do not do much massaging but I love these bars as a sort of solid body moisturiser. I therefore just let the bar melt a bit in my hands and then rub it all over my body. It leaves my skin soft and smelling lovely all day. Now I'm not normally into vanilla products due to bad memories of vanilla but anyway Heavanilli was brought out for Valentines Day 2009. For this occasion I was in Dublin with my partner to celebrate V/D. I just so happen to love this day where I get to spend a day or evening with my loved one and have presents!! I bought this massage bar only a few days after it was released as I love the scent of vanilla fountain so hoped it would smell pretty similar. On first sniff in the shop it did indeed smell similar but perhaps with a bit more of an edge to it, but I was confident that this would not put me off! So I took this little beauty home and after my shower proceeded to rub it all over my legs as I really like using the massage bars as moisturisers. It was only when I smelled this bar that I actually understood the name, up until that point I had miss read it to lead me to expect a lilli flower scent and it was only when I detected the distinctive smell of vanilla that the penny dropped, who said it was blondes who are dumb well I fly the flag for brunette in the dumb stakes. Not entirely sure how much this actually cost as t was part of a gift package last February and it took me a while to getting around to using it for some reason.
