I've never been a big user on hand creams, but since getting slightly older, and having my own place, washing up the pots and pans is murder on your hands. I've tried using marigolds but they just don't feel comfortable when i'm washing up. I use fairy liquid and it's not bad on my hands, but they just don't feel as soft as they used to 3 years ago. After trying out several LUSH products for my hair and my skin, I decided to see what their hand cream would be like. Below is my review on this product :) THE PRODUCT ------ It's a healing, soothing handcream which is designed to heal rough, dry or sore hands. Lightly fragranced ... Read the complete review

Since I gave birth to my daughter in 2007 I have had the worst dry skin on my hands ever. They split open they are so dry and are so sore. I am not sure what has caused the dryness on my hands, the doctor said it could either be some hormone related thing or possibly that I am more than likely spending more time with my hands in water with having a child (washing bottles, giving baths etc) or a combination of both. I have had so many different creams from the doctors but none of them have worked. I had tried every hand cream I could find and nothing really worked. Most were absorbed into the skin far too quickly and left my hands feeling just as dry, ... Read the complete review

I suffer from really dry skin and my hands are the part of my body which seem to suffer the most leading to really dry, sore and cracked skin. I have used many hand creams over the years and Helping Hands is now one of my favourites. Helping hands costs £5.94 for a 100g pot from Lush which might seem expensive until you realise that a little goes a very long way and I have been using my pot at least once a day for a couple of months and still have a little bit left. The higher price tag for Lush products compared to a cheaper handcream is due to the fact that it contains such high quality ingredients including linseed oil, shea butter, almond oil, cocoa ... I used my hands a lot when working in retail, as well as doing chores such as washing up, polishing, etc and this all takes a toll on my hands as it would with anyone. You should treat your hands and feet equally well as they do pretty much everything during the day; get us from A to B, make us food and so on. So anyway, after much neglect towards my poor hands, I decided enough was enough and they deserved better, so I trotted down to my favourite shop Lush to find the best thing for them! There was a selection of a few handcreams and although some of the others smlled really nice, the sales assistant said that Helping Hands was one for hardcore hands, that ... Read the complete review

I spend alot of time outside with the horses, so during the winter my hands really suffer with the cold as do most peoples, however in the summer my hands don't get a break either! When your grooming horses, mucking a stable out and filling water buckets your hands are constantly being mistreated and end up becoming dry very easily. At work I see clients all the time and there is nothing worse than shaking someone's hand which is dry and chapped. It's important for me to keep my hands in as good a condition as they can be. Lush Helping Hands has come in so useful, I have a bottle of this in my desk at work and in my handbag! Helping Hands is ... Read the complete review
