Lush Honey Bee Ballistic

Description: Brand: Lush / Type: Bath Salt

Newest Review: ... the bath and let it fizz up. It creates a wonderful froth that will envelope you and the whole bathroom! There is a certain ... more

... sweetness to this bomb which makes me feel warm and fuzzy. It can certainly help melt away troubles and I believe the essential oils soothe tension too, so it's a winner. Price: About £2.50 for a bomb if I recall, so buy four for a tenner and have maybe one a week for a real treat. You can find them in all Lush stores and they don't usually sell out as the bombs are pretty well stocked. Thumbs up for this sweet and sensual chap!...more

Premium Review Lush Honey Bee Ballistic: I look like the Hulk! (794 words)

Honey Bee is one of Lush's more attractive bath bombs. Bright yellow with stripes of sandy stuff (presumably the rhassoul mud) that makes it look like a very bright bumble bee. On smelling, it gives off an unbelievably sweet honey smell. Been a sugar addict and a big fan of products that smell like sweets and honey, I had to give this a try! Ingredients Limonene , Linalool , Aloe Vera Extract (Aloe barbadensis) , Benzyl Benzoate , Bergamot Oil (Citrus bergamia) , Citric Acid , Gardenia Extract (Gardenia jasminoides) , Honey (Mel) , Perfume , Rhassoul Mud , Sodium Bicarbonate , Sweet Orange Oil (Citrus dulcis). Honey Bee is one of the ...  Read the complete review

Having had one of those colds that's dragged on for weeks and a tough day at work, I had a bath tonight. This has been a peculiarly difficult thing to do lately, since I dyed my hair with some 'economic' hair dye. I like to wash my hair in the mornings (it's long and picks up dirt easily) but the thought of swilling in dye blackened water is so unappealing I've had to shower instead. And with winter getting underway, a girl needs a bit of pampering. My favourite bath products are generally Lush, with their mix of natural ingredients, delicious names and handmade status, they can tempt to linger in scented waters, idly pushing the hot tap on and off with my ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Lush Honey Bee Ballistic: Luminous bathwater! (181 words)

Got one of these for Christmas, and I could smell it without even opening the wrapping! It smells just like Honey I washed the Kids soap, for those of you that don't know, basically it smells like sugar and honey and toffee all mixed into one, which makes you, want to eat it. The colouring of this bath bomb is fantastic, shocking yellow with brown stripes, giving it its name, from its bee-like stripes. The colouring also gives a very interesting effect when you use it. Luminous yellow bathwater is certainly something to experience. When you drop it in the bath, the fizzing is incredible, much better than standard "bombs" I have brought ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Queen Bee! (734 words)

It's been absolutely ages since I had a splurge in Lush so when I walked past a store in Colchester that I didn't even realise was there recently I just had to double back and treat myself. I set myself a limit (and stuck to it!) of two ballistics, two bubble bars and a bottle of either shampoo or shower gel - challenging myself to choose products I'd never used before, one of which was the Honey Bee Bath Ballistic. I love their Honey I Washed The Kids soap and this has a similar sweet honey fragrance, although I do think the overall aroma of Honey Bee is more complex with hints of citrus and floral fragrances. It's not the best looking ballistic in Lush ...  Read the complete review

So my husband is returning from a business trip and I have a nice evening planned for his return. I've gone shopping and got some nice ingredients for dinner, bought some nice wine and accidently fallen into a Lush shop (as you do!). But for once in my Lush purchasing career I was very firm and told the assistant exactly what I was looking for. And this strategy worked because I only bought another 3 things that I wasn't after! But what I was after were some products which complemented the fragrance of Lush's Soft Coeur massage bar which my husband and I have been enjoying recently. And one of these products was a Honey Bee bath ballistic. I have to say ...  Read the complete review
