Advantages: smells nice when it's not been disolved in water yet and looks cute

Disadvantages: stains the bath, dries my skin out and scent did not last

I bought one of these honey bun bath ballistics during Easter for about £1.65 per piece I think... (Can't quite remember as prices are now no longer listed on the website due to this being a limited edition item).

This bath ballistic was bright yellow, in the shape of a bunny and smelt very nice and sweet. It smells exactly like the honey ballistic in the permanent line, except this one was smaller and didn't have brown stripes running through it.

I couldn't wait to try this as I love honey I washed the kids soap and thought that a bath using both of them would be awesome. Now, my skin is pretty dry and sensitive and I find that I always need additional moisturiser after a bath or shower so wanted to see what this product would do for my skin.

I ran the bath and got in and then put the ballistic in the water. It fizzed away for about a minute or so and turned the water a bright yellow colour. The water did smell quite nice but I had trouble smelling the honey scent after it fizzed away and I could smell the bicarbonate of soda they have in the ballistics to make them fizz.

I was quite disappointed that the scent had faded so quickly and also, the colour of the water wasn't quite pleasant either. It also felt quite drying on my skin and it left a horrible yellow stain on the bath where the waterline was. It took me ages to wash off which was a pain.

I've now concluded that I'm more of a bubble bath girl and having coloured water with a minutes worth of fizz in it isn't really worth the money in my opinion. I would have liked it more if the scent could have lasted so that's just another reason why I won't be getting any more of these come next Easter.

Summary: ok to try once but i dont want to be scrubbing the bath everytime!
