Honey I Washed the Kids Soap from Lush
Wow, I have found my perfect smell and it has been created in the form of this special bar of soap from the infamous Lush Fresh cosmetics Company. I have only fairly recently tried this bar as I received it as a present for Christmas but since being given a bar as a gift I have gone out myself and purchased several more since. It doesn’t seem to last long in my bathroom due to the fact I want to wash my entire body in it and I don’t even mind my boyfriend using it as he then smell so delicious that I want to gobble him all up!
A 100-gram bar of Honey I Washed the Kids soap costs just under £3, which is a little expensive for a standard bar of soap, but this is clearly no ordinary soap bar and I find this little extra cost is well worth paying out for the beautiful smell and wonderful feeling after having used the soap.
The bar comes within a clear plastic wrapper denoting the name of product and ingredients contained within the soap. The ingredients incidentally are mainly made up of natural things as Lush try to use as many natural things to make up their products as possible and this can really be noted in the aromas from most of their merchandise. The packaging it also limited to save on wasted material as Lush are very for saving the environment and such like things.
Ok so the soap does come in various sizes but I stick to buying the 100 gram bar because otherwise the larger ones are too hard to use and you are not paying any less for buying in bulk so I think stick to getting a standard size on is the best option. The colour of the bar is a very luring beige and in my view a slight coffee colour. The smell of this Honey I Washed the Kids soap is that of a Honey and Toffee like aroma. If anyone has tried the Ma Bar from Lush and enjoyed that then this is the perfect soap as this smells pretty much the same as that.
The smell for me is truly the main reason for buying this soap as it gives off a very warm and secure smell that is relaxing, warm and still gives the fresh clean smell of soap that one would want. The bar bubbles up nicely whether on a flannel or straight on your skin in the shower. I find using it in the shower often makes the bar melt away quicker and as I love this one so much I try not to get it under the spray for feat of loosing too much of the product down the drain.
A bar for me I would say last a little over two weeks and that is of using it continually everyday for hand washing and body washing. This I find is pretty acceptable as bog standard bars would last perhaps a little longer but I never get the same enjoyment from using them as I do using this fragranced bar.
Parts of my skin are fairly sensitive but I have not yet had any problems with stinging or soreness when using this bar. The fact that there are so many natural products included in the ingredients perhaps gives it an edge ahead of other fragranced bars on the market. The thickness of the soap suds seems to give the bar a great moisturising property that really feels good against the skin and makes my hands and face feel not only clean and fresh but moisturised and smelling amazing.
If I could eat this bar of soap I really would and I think it is the best product that I have found so far from Lush. I will continue to use this as my everyday soap and feel that it is worth every cent I paid for it. The smell is amazing, it cleans and moisturises and I have had no problems at all with it.
For all honey or toffee lovers I suggest you try this bar and trust me when I say after using it once you will never look back.
