I've ignored this soap for the longest time but after popping into my local Lush with a bit of a cold and feeling under the weather, I decided to give this a go as something fresh and minty might help me breathe better. I got a 100g chunk of this soap cut for me as I didn't want to buy loads in case I didn't like it. I'm just more drawn to sweet scents so never thought I'd want to use this as every time I've gone to smell it in the past, it just didn't appeal to me.

It's a very vibrant blue and quite pretty looking soap, definitely something I think my boyfriend would like to use as it doesn't look or smell girly at all.

I've now tried this in the bath and under a hot shower and I like how it smells and feels on my skin. I've been feeling a bit poorly and wake up feeling sweaty and am clammy feeling during the day... Well this soap is just what the doctor ordered because it gives off a lovely minty scent which helps me breathe better, it lathers up nicely and feels smooth and surprisingly moisturising on my often very dry skin and the cooling sensation from the mint mixed with the hot shower or bath water is just lovely. I feel like it brings my body temperature back to being bearable and not horribly hot and sticky anymore and it feels very relaxing and soothing. I can definitely keep this soap in mind for going on holiday, during the hot summer months or even in winter when I'm feeling a bit poorly and need a nice pick me up soap.

The ingredients according to the Lush website are: Water (Aqua), Propylene Glycol, Rapeseed oil; Sunflower oil; Coconut oil (Brassica napus; Helianthus annuus; Cocos nucifera), Fine Sea Salt, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Sodium Hydroxide, Sodium Stearate, Perfume, Sweet Wild Orange Oil (Citrus Aurantium dulcis), Bergamot Oil (Citrus Aurantium bergamia), Peppermint Oil (Mentha piperita), *Limonene, *Linalool, Hydroxycitronellal, Colour 42045
* Occurs naturally in Essential Oils.

So, whilst I've been avoiding this soap for ages and ages, I can definitely say that I recommend this now, especially if you're feeling a bit congested or poorly and need a little pick-me-up. I'll always have a piece of this soap ready for when I can do with a bit of a cooling and refreshing shower or bath and when I want to be able to breathe better. This would also be great for boys to try, I'm going to give some to my boyfriend and am sure that he's going to love this too!
