Advantages: Bubbles last ages and water is very soft.

Disadvantages: Is more floral that I would have liked.

As a regular Lushie I couldn't help but treat myself to this bubble bar as I had never used it before. I really liked the minty description the website gave and thought it would be a lovely refreshing bath for the summer time. I believe the bubble bar is itself inspired by an 'ice hotel' in Sweden.

As I went through my latest Lush parcel, I found the bubble bar and at first didn't know that it was Ice Hotel as it didn't look the same as the photo. It was a lot less glittery and a different colour. I would describe it as a cream flat circle with specks of glitter. When I smelt it for the first time, the mint was a very obvious feature however it was not as strong as I had imagined and other undertones were definitely more powerful than they perhaps should have been given the description of the product. Although very minty it also smells very earthy and a little bit floral which I personally found disappointing as this wasn't mentioned in the description and I get headaches from floral smells.

Since I had bought it though I thought it would be a shame not to use it so I crumbled it under the running water in my bath. I noticed it was a lot softer than other bubble bars and so it crumbled easier and I nearly dropped half of it in as it was so soft! Straight away, bubbles started to form. On a scale of 1 - 10 for bubbles this bar gave approximately a 7, not loads but enough for me not to be disappointed with the result.
Due to the colour of the bar, the water didn't change colour at all underneath the bubbles, however the little flecks of glitter did make the water look inviting.

The water itself was very soft after using this bar, softer than others I have tried. The bubbles lasted a long time and as I got out I had glitter all over me (so perfect to use before a night out!).

The scent lasted on my skin for a few hours after the bath, but it did stay more minty than floral which I was pleased about!
