Another part of my Lush grab bag, Jingle Spells came out with the Christmas and Halloween limited editions late last year. I'm guessing it's supposed to be a mixture of both, judging by the name, but its appearance and scent, in my opinion, lends itself more to Halloween. My ballistic (bath bomb to the Lush uninitiated) was actually star-shaped, but the same colour as the one pictured above and with the same small plastic stars - more on those later. When I took it out of the bag, it smelled faintly floral, slightly of lavender but a little sweeter and less pungent. It seemed somewhat mysterious, perhaps because it made me wonder what it actually smelled of, ... Read the complete review

I got this as a Christmas present along with a few other lush products. I've never tried anything from Lush before, if I'm honest it's because the overall smell of the shop always put me off going in! Also I don't really use block soap as I prefer shower gel. Despite this I was really excited when I opened the present, I had become quite curious about Lush especially after reading peoples reviews on here. ***Before it melted... The set looked lovely, it came in a cardboard box which is quite plain but it was gift wrapped by Lush in a lovely white textured paper with red ribbon round it. The 5 soaps within it were packed in with loads of popcorn as ... Read the complete review

It's been a while since I used a Lush bath product - by a while I mean about two weeks, which is a long time for me not to have a Lush bath! I had bought virtually everything in the Lush Christmas range, and unfortunately on the whole have not been impressed. The last product I used - Christmas Party - I was especially disappointed with, as it smelled amazing, but when I put it in the bath it released a lot of awful looking confetti and paper. I knew that Jingle Spells contained little foil stars and I'd also had quite bad experiences with them, as I used the Gold Star bubble bar which also contained them, and I found they were spiky and jabbed into my ... I received a good few Lush products over Christmas as gifts and slowly I have been getting round to using them, I have also decided that it is about time I started writing some reviews on them so I can muster up the money to replace the ones I liked. Lush Jingle Spells Ballistic was one of the Lush products I did enjoy, these look more like a typical bath bomb than many of the Lush Ballistics do, they are a dusty powdery pinky colour if that makes any sense? These bath Ballistics have a very unusual scent whilst still being very lovely. I say unusual because I tend to find a scent to be either woody and herby or fruity and sweet but this is a bit of ... My Mum recently received a Christmas gift box and in it there was a Lush jingle Spells ball. It looked so pretty when I saw it she said I could have it and try it out. She knows I love a good long relaxing smelly bath. Bath ballistics are as shown above round balls of smelly fizz which also colours the bath water. They are very easy to use. You just run your bath and when the bath has run just drop the ballistic into it. Then you jump in and the ball fizzles away. The Jingle spells ballistic is described as a hangover cure. It contains tangerine that clears your head and refreshes the spirit, fennel oil to detox the body and ylang ylang oil to relax ... Read the complete review
