Advantages: Great scent and gentle on the skin.

Disadvantages: Only available at Christmas it would appear.

I received a good few Lush products over Christmas as gifts and slowly I have been getting round to using them, I have also decided that it is about time I started writing some reviews on them so I can muster up the money to replace the ones I liked.

Lush Jingle Spells Ballistic was one of the Lush products I did enjoy, these look more like a typical bath bomb than many of the Lush Ballistics do, they are a dusty powdery pinky colour if that makes any sense?

These bath Ballistics have a very unusual scent whilst still being very lovely. I say unusual because I tend to find a scent to be either woody and herby or fruity and sweet but this is a bit of a mixture, when it first hit the water it seemed very herby and even a bit manly but it soon broke into a much sweeter fruity smell.

It contains tangerine oil which I guess gives it the fruity smell and perhaps the tangerine oil might be what gives it the very nice softening affect on the skin. The bath water was a beautiful purple colour when I used this product and there were a few stars of assorted colours floating on my water that came off the top of the ballistic which looked very nice.

The scent is a long lasting one that stays on the skin even after towel drying and it also made not only the bathroom but the whole house smell nice. It is definitely a Lush product I would be keen to use again and also recommend to other but I think it might be part of their Christmas special range and therefore unavailable now sadly.

I got these as a gift but after some research I can tell you they cost £2.50 each which is about the norm for Lush ballistics and they are worth every penny in my view!

Summary: Recommended!!
