Advantages: Everything!!!!!!!!!!!
Disadvantages: At £9.95 it hurts a little!
I have wrote a couple of reviews about Lush..... all things lush I could write about all day every day I simply love the stuff!
From the simple well laid out stores packed with goodies, to the website (which is fabby) to the products themselves.
Over the the past 4 years (since I lost my cherry to the store) I've pretty much tried everything and now I'm on to just buying the 'must haves'.
I do have a long, long list of these but the one I want to tell you about is the Karma Kream!
The Packaging....
It comes in one size (otherwise I'd have a bigger pot), and that size is 225g.
The pot , as you come to expect from Lush is simple in design. Black with white writing with a pull off lid, and it clearly states all the information you need to know such as, of course what it is, what its purpose is, ingredients, their head office, website details and when it was made and when to use it up by (as its made with natural ingredients) and even who made it.
A couple of reasons to buy....
It's not tested on animals (they prefer to test on people), a hugely important thing to me, the pot is recyclable, its all natural, and its all handmade.
What is Karma Kream exactly?....
Its a body cream, you can stick it anywhere on your body!
No one said you cant use it on your face, so you probably could!
Though expect the man in your life to start licking you frenzied....
Its an off white colour and its a thick cream that goes on smooth and melts on to skin, it feels oily but it doesn't stay that way, your skin drinks it and says thank-you!
Whats it smell of?....
To me it smells like a mixture of Orange, Jasmin and Lemons (though there are no Jasmin like ingredients). Its a very hard smell to describe but it's very rich and deep and very erotic and exotic!
The smell is incredibly sexy and I've had men literally fall at my feet when they've smelt this fragrance on me!
When it goes on your skin its very strong but then it settles and becomes less evasive but still very pungent and lingers for hours.
The only drawback of this body lotion is that you need to be very careful what fragrances you add to it IE perfumes and deodorant's cos it all mingles and can tend to be not very pleasant and 'far too much' If your gonna team this fragrance up with anything your best to either use the other products in the range or just wear the lotion and use a fragrance free antiperspirant (which I did last summer).
A tip I had from a shop assistant in the store told me that perfume can react in the hot weather and turn the smell so these body lotions are great to keep skin hydrated, great smelling and dont react, so good if your going abroad!
Does it work as a body lotion though?....
YES YES AND YES!
Never mind the smell, I mean it is beautiful and feminine but the idea behind it is to treat your skin and it does that with ease.
It cools my skin down and is great for applying after shaving (no sting) and makes my skin really hydrated. The mix of oils makes my skin lovely and smooth and brilliant for slapping some fake tan on to.
Last winter I had scale like legs and my skin felt tight and this did the trick with one application. This is not a product you have to use every day or week or month to get a result, you may want to use it every day but you don't have to! Use it whenever you skin feels under the weather! It works immediately!
Do be prepared though for men to throw themselves at you though!!!
The price of it is £9.95.
Not the cheapest body cream in the world granted but a pot lasts forever and the results and smell make up for the price!
All I'd say is if your buying it, test some on your hand and see what you think of it and also they will give you a little pot to test if you ask!
