Lush are famous for their soaps. These buttercreams are 20% soap and the rest is made up of butters, oils and other lovely things. Buttercreams look good enough to eat. They are slippery, creamy soapy stuff (thats the technical description!). If they are put in the freezer they become hard like soap and are very refreshing in the summer with hot water coming out of the shower and freezing cold soap. Lemslip is the most wanted buttercream according to the Lush Times. I find this no surprise. I originally had Heavenly Bodies buttercream which was nice and chocolatey but I prefer this one. I used Lush's Lemslip butter cream recently and thought I would write about it while it is still fairly fresh in my memory! I bought the product for two reasons - firstly I had used Lush's Skinny Dip Butter Cream a few years ago, and to my recollection liked it, and secondly I think I lost all common sense and had several major Lush sprees, buying virtually every product they own! Lemslip is from Lush's butter cream range. A butter cream is basically soap with a difference. I love lush products but living in the sticks I dont get to visit a store more than a couple of times a year. I was delighted when my sister presented me with a big box of assorted lush goodies on my birthday. Amongst them was a bar of the lemslip butter. When you open the compostible box, you are met by a divine smell. The smell most apparent is that of lemons but you can tell that it has been mixed with something else.
