Like most women, my idea of relaxing after a long hard slog at work is to have a nice long soak in a deliciously scented bath. For everyday use I pick up some pretty nice cheap bubble baths form Bodycare. However there is only one shop to go to for an extra special luxurious bath, Lush. Duskman was being extra nice to me at Valentines Day, and bought me a little parcel of sleep inducing lush products as we had colds that week and were not sleeping well at all. After a long and hectic day shopping for Bridesmaids dresses in the West End on Saturday, I came home desperate to relax in a bath and wash away the stress and grime of our city centre. The bright pink luxury bath melt that I tried recently smelled strongly of strawberries. There was also a slightly sweet smell that might have verged on sugary. The strongest smell though was definitely strawberry. This lasted in the bathroom for ages after I had finished my bath. My favourite thing about this luxury bath melt is the fact the water goes bright pink, and I really do mean BRIGHT pink. It was so much fun. I know so many girls that love pink. The Lush company have excelled themselves with this wonderful tropical Bath Melt. The Floating Island Bath Melt is shaped like a muffin cake and about the same size. From the moment you float it in your bath the beautiful aromas fill the air and take you to a lovely state of relaxation. As you lay back the Bath Melt slowly fizzes away releasing a mixture of sandalwood and cocoa butter, turning the water milky white and the air like the breeze on a tropical island.
