Lush Melomint Bubble Bar

Whilst shopping for a gift for a friend who just so happens has never tried anything from Lush I did treat myself to one or two things. Since the retro Lush products became available online I have been trying some of the ones I missed out on the first time round that I remember being quite popular. I am a huge fan of bubble bars! I have tried what seems like hundreds of the things! I'm always waiting for the next one from Lush. My bathroom is stocked with bubble bars of all varieties and it's driving my very patient boyfriend quite mad! As I said in my Wuss bubble bar review, I do not like ballistics and bubble bars, but will never say no to a Lush freebie, so when I was given a Melomint bubble bar, I gave it a try. As you can see from the Dooyoo picture, Melomint has a pink centre and a green crsut - what you may not be able to see, is that in the pink but, there are little black seedy bits making this really look like a watermelon slice, especially my piece as it is cut in half, it looks just like a slice of melon ! This looks like stick of seaside rock that has been broken in half and it smells like it too. I am pleased Lush has decided to bring this back in it's retro range. The bar is lime green on the outside with a big bright pink centre, it smells like peppermint (toothpaste almost!) This one really does wake you up, the mint scent is very strong. It gives loads of bubbles so feels very luxurious. I like the Melomint bubble bars from Lush. They are bright olive green on the outside, with a bright pink centre. They are really bright and fun and modern. They really remind me of the new double flavour chewing gums that you can now buy. These bubble bars look really fruity and they do not disappoint when you use them. They fizz in the water quite slowly and create hundreds of bubbles. The bubbles fill the bathroom with a sweet mint smell.
