... some, took it home and began using it daily on my face (I know, soap isn't for the face - but I didn't have a cleanser at this point) and body. Within about a week I noticed that my skin was much brighter and clearer and the spots I'd been getting were backing off and disappearing. My skin was soft and lovely and it was all down to this soap! The Rhassoul mud is the kind you're likely to find in body packs and lemon is notoriously good for troubled skin - especially spots. Now that I have cleansers,I only use it on...more

Crowned Review Lush Mud Flats Soap: You shouldn't judge a soap by its cover... (1159 words)

I have an announcement to make...I am no longer a Lush virgin! I regularly visit a nearby shopping centre (Meadowhall) which has a Lush store but I've never ventured inside - partly due to a fear of spending a fortune and partly because the other half wouldn't be too impressed waiting for me. Well, last weekend whilst traipsing round I spied a Lush stall. I was instantly attracted by the words 'FREE SAMPLE' so headed over to take a look...and quite literally walked away with a little bar of soap to try. After reading countless dooyoo reviews about the glorious products that Lush have to offer, I was really excited about testing my goody. Stood at ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Muddy Miracle! (257 words)

Mud Flats soap was one of the first miracles I encountered by Lush. (Unfortunately, now it seems to be Retro meaning it's only available through Mail-Order) Mud Flats (the chunk I had) looked like a brick of mud - darker than in the picture shown. It looked really un-impressive and not like something you'd want to clean your skin with - but Rhassoul mud isn't just any mud! I bought some, took it home and began using it daily on my face (I know, soap isn't for the face - but I didn't have a cleanser at this point) and body. Premium Review Lush Mud Flats Soap: Nakedness + Mud = Great Combination! (741 words)

It always makes me wonder when Lush discontinues a product but then will try and replace it with a different item. Why not just leave the item alone?! Especially when they are incredibly popular! I understand things have to change but how much can you change a shower gel or a soap?! I first came upon Mudflats when they first released it and was able to get a good chunk in store, now it's not a particularly pretty soap, a big piece of caramel brown soap is hardly what you call "pretty" but the fact that it had a great write up made me want to try it! The fact that it was all about detox for the skin impressed me straight away and the fact that I loved Narcotick ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review just like a mud pack for your body (343 words)

I've been quite intrigued by this Lush Mud Flats soap but wasn't sure if I would like it since it's not really the type of soap I would initially go for. I like sweet scents and this one didn't really have anything of what I usually like in it but I wanted to try it for the skin benefits this soap was supposed to have. One slice of this stuff is £2.45 from Lush shops and online. It's a mud coloured soap and some of its ingredients are: rosemary, salt, tea tree, sage and Moroccan clay. It's lemon scented and also has hints of other smells in it but I can't quite put my finger on it. I do like to use mud and clay masks for my face as part of my face ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Lush Mud Flats Soap: Mudflats the spot slayer (832 words)
by - written on 18/11/08 (Very useful, 155 readings)

As far as Lush soaps go, I tend to buy the soaps that look the prettiest and smell the nicest. At the end of the day they're just soaps and although I have a couple of favourites, they're mainly favourites because I like the smell and not because they're any better than any other soap. However Mudflats is slightly different. I didn't buy this soap because it looks pretty (it doesn't. It looks like a lump of dried mud) or because it has an enduring scent (more on that later) but simply because its classed as "the purifying, cleansing herbal one" and I needed something purifying and cleansing. I've been lucky in that I've never suffered from spots much on my face ...  Read the complete review
