Lush Ocean Salt Face Scrub

Description: Brand: Lush / Type: Exfoliator

Newest Review: ... grapefruit and sea salt and that if you collect five of the pots you can get a free Lush face mask. Great stuff. But what ... more

... about directions for use? Skin types etc, there's not a lot else on there. Obviously if you are in a Lush store you can ask one of their overly enthusiastic assistants all this but it would be nice to have the info on the pot to take away with you. Luckily the Lush website came in handy on the information on here it states that the product should only be used as a refresh on dry skin one a week but on oily skin is ok to use every day. Surely quite important information that should have been a little easier to obtain, ...more

The good thing about this is its like a trip to the sea side. Salty, refreshing reminded me of a distant childhood spent on beaches splashing around in the deep blue pool with the taste of bitter salt in my mouth. OK so yes I like this product its totally natural, smells lovely and you just know its doing your skin some good. It instantly makes your skin smooth and is effective on spots . You dont need to use much and at £4.50 you cant really fall off. People in the past have complained that it stings but thats probably because they are rubbing it in too hard. Worth a ...  Read the complete review

Crowned Review Lush Ocean Salt Face Scrub: Is the sea your sunshine? (1077 words)

After falling in love with the scent of King of the Mods hair gel, which has a sort of sherbet lemon-esque smell, someone recommended that I try out Ocean Salt, claiming it smelt the same. Now, it doesn't smell the same really at all, but it is a gorgeous scent nonetheless so that can be forgiven. Ocean Salt has a more lime based scent than the ultra lemon-y King of the Mods, but it is a gorgeous almost Key Lime Pie type smell - absolutely delicious. It's both sweet and refreshing at the same time and certainly a lovely smell for something that is going to be on your face. Whilst the smell was my initial reason for purchase I have also been all ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review I've joined the Lush brigade! (645 words)

Yep, I'm following the trend everyone, and writing a Lush review! I've always found Lush a fascinating shop, with a somewhat overpowering smell, true. The thing that's bothered me however are the prices. I love their bath bombs, probably the product most people are familiar with but I just cannot justify spending £3 or so on a bath (no including water!) I do think they are a great presents to give (and receive!) I recently visited my local Lush looking for a new face scrub or wash. Bored with all the ones you find on the shelves of Boots and Superdrug made by leading brands that promise the earth and don't deliver I wanted to try something a little more ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Lush Ocean Salt Face Scrub: LUSH Ocean Salt Face Scrub (367 words)

Description: This is a wonderfully citrusy, fruity salt scrub; with grapefruit, lime avocado, coconut, seasweed, vodka, and violets all making an appearance in the ingredients list, this scrub reads more like a tropical cocktail than a clenser. The vital ingredient, here, however, is of course the sea salt - along with the seaweed this serves to re-mineralise skin. LUSH recommends this for both oily and dry skin. It comes in 120g or 250g pots, selling at £5.96 and £10.96 respectively on the website. Opinion: I am very very impressed with this scrub - it not only smells lovely, but it does exactly what it says in the product description. Ultimately, the ...  Read the complete review
