Lush by name, Lush by nature! Lush's Ocean Salt Face Scrub is just plain Lush! I have used this product and fell in love with the freshness of the scrub, the smell of lime, coconut, the seasalt - it felt as if I were at the seaside! You know when you have spent the day at the ocean, and you have this sort of fresh feeling to your skin? Well this is exactly what using this scrub feels like!

Just a little warning that this product may not suit you if you have sensitive skin! On the packaging it says just to use once a week. I only use this once and awhile because I feel that it packs a powerful punch and I have very sensitive skin-and am worried about breakouts. I use this when I feel that my skin needs a total wakeup!

I was talking to the lady at the Lush store about this product and sensitivity and she tells me that she has very sensitive skin so avoids using it often, but does use it for a body scrub. Which I now do regularly. As it contains real sea-salt I use it on areas of my skin where perhaps i've had an in-grown hair and want the sterile nature of the seasalt to heal fast - it also makes a great footscrub!

It contains fresh organic lime extracted in vodka, coarse sea salt, fresh avocado butter, extra virgin coconut oil, and some seaweed absolute!


I bought the big pot for my boyfriend as a small gift and he absolutely loves it. He hates using any sort of beauty product, and when he opened the package and saw a face-scrub he pulled a bit of a face! It wasn't until he opened the pot and smelled the fresh scent and read that it contained vodka that he had a big smile and was excited to use it. Now he always makes a point of telling me he's used the scrub, and seems really pleased with himself! It sounds like a small thing, but I love the fact he's taking care of his skin without the shame of feeling 'less of a man'. Im still trying to make him try moisturiser, but it's not working - yet!

£5.82 for 120g and £10.72 for 250g a little goes a long way, and with use only once a week this product can last for months!
