... get back from a particularly gruelling gym session or a particularly cold, icy, horrid day. I come in,slather this on my feet (exfoliating if I can be bothered, first) and pop some socks on over it,then sit with my feet near a hot water bottle to help it along with it's warming sensations. The thing about this is that you can TELL from the smell of it that it will warm your feet back and revive them - it smells so SPICY and WARM. So,basically - not the NICEST smell in the world but a fitting scent for what it does. I...more

Crowned Review Lush Pied de Pepper: What's that warm sensation I feel down there? (989 words)

I cannot believe just how cold it is right now, first we have no summer time and now winter has come early so it means everyone is wrapping up warm to avoid catching all kinds of bugs and diseases from one another and to keep the cold out. The one thing I cant stand about the cold weather however is having cold feet or having someone putting their cold feet onto me to steal my warmth. I’m kind of lucky because I always have warm hands and feet (and you know what they say warm feet warm heart or is it cold heart lol) but I’m not happy to share it, not even with Steve. So I needed a solution and off I went to Lush after reading some reviews about Pied De ...  Read the complete review

**LUSH** I think by now everyone knows all bout a fantastic little company called Lush. They are based in Poole in Dorset & have hundreds of shops all over the world. They make cosmetics which are in no shape or form tested on any animals & pride themselves on this aspect. They make allsorts of products in all sorts of scents from foot creams to shampoo bars. I think by now I have tried & tested most of these products & I now have a very long list of staple items I use on a daily basis. One of these very important parts of my daily treatments is Pied de Pepper foot cream. **PIED DE PEPPER** What is Pied De Pepper I ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Lush Pied de Pepper: Lushush Lush product. (840 words)

Very similar to marmite people will either love or hate Lush. Reasons to hate include the pushy (on commission) sales people and the smell. The latter one puts my boyfriend off. Reasons to love include their ethics or not testing products or ingredient on animals, the wide range of products and products that actually work. although I'm not here to talk about Lush I am here to discuss their "Pied De Pepper, foot lotion" with you. Firstly Looks? Well it is presented in the well known black pots with white writing and a yellow/green sticker. The pots are 100g (travel friendly), and have a screw top lid and made out of plastic. The white ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review What is this smell? (362 words)

As part of Lush's 10 for £10 deal, you get a trial size version of Pied De Pepper Foot Lotion to go alongside the Fair Trade Foot Lotion (which I have already reviewed). The trial size is 5g, and comes in a little plastic pot with a screw top lid. Upon opening the jar, I was greeted with a beige coloured cream, not unlike a liquid foundation. The scent is very strong and you notice it without even trying to smell it, if that makes sense. On first whiff I wasn't too sure what to make of it. It's definitely so strong that if you don't like it, I doubt you'll even try the lotion. It smells very strongly of pepper, combined with plain soap and possibly even a bit ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Lush Pied de Pepper: I'm all peppered out! (670 words)

After my disappointing experience with Fair Trade I was still in search of a great foot lotion (despite taking Vitamin E capsules two heads are better than one so they say!) I went into Lush in search of something that could soften my skin. I was not in the mood however to have a sales assistant come over to me! Of course she was bouncing off the walls with cheeryness and after asking me what I was after I told her that I needed a foot lotion which would soft etc. She tried to palm Fair Trade off on me and I promptly told her that I'd already had a pot and I wasn't that impressed (thinking back I probably knocked that cheeryness right out of her!) She chose Volcano Foot ...  Read the complete review
