Advantages: easy to use, great results, helped my poor foot circulation

Disadvantages: may be too strong a smell for some?

I've really 'gone to town' on my little size 3/4 feet lately thanks to my older daughter having treated me to a Lush foot care set & the results are much better than I'd dared to expect.

The 'Step-by-step' leaflet included in the box has ensured that I've used the enclosed products as advised & now I'm reviewing Pied de Pepper which is recommended for use in step 5.

I've so far used the mask, the ballistic & the pumice bar so my feet & toes are free of dry skin, deodorised & very clean - the next step I'm told is to apply this scented foot lotion.

It retails at around £6.12 for 100g but I'm using the small sized pot which is 5g & there's enough here for a few generous applications. The colour is a pale pink & is the consistency of a fairly thin yoghurt. When I first opened it I was surprised by the smell as it reminded me of that powdery stuff that dentists use when they polish your teeth - only much more pleasant! I see from the ingredients that it includes clove & cinnamon as well as ginger essential oils - maybe the smell of cloves reminded me of th dentist?

The lotion itself is really nice to use & because of it's consistency I found it easy to use not only on my feet & heels but also awkward bits between & around the toes. It seems to absorb immediately, isn't greasy & makes the skin feel really soft & supple - in fact I had to keep touching my feet as they didn't seem to belong to me as I had become to used to the old dry ones!

After a couple of minutes I noticed a lovely slight warming sensation & my feet didn't feel as cold as they normally do. Lush's claim that Pied de Pepper helps stimulate circulation, in my opinion, is true as I felt a definite improvement & the colour of my feet was much more healthy-looking.

I've so far been really impressed by all the Lush foot products I've tried so far but have to say this particular product is my favourite for ease of use, results & the added bonus of better circulation & thus warmer feet & toes.

summary
~
- a top foot lotion by Lush.
- strong smell which may not appeal to everyone.
- easy to use & sinks into skin immediately.
- great results.
- also noticed when I applied on my feet that my hands felt really soft as well!

Summary: lovely foot lotion by Lush
