It smells spicey and flowery at the same time which is a wonderful contrast. The consistency is good, not to runny or too solid. I'd reccommend it for dry skin!...more

Premium Review Lush Potion: Lush's Lovely Lotion...I mean Potion! (766 words)

I must first confess that I actually brought this from the Lush website for a friend?s birthday on 31st October (I thought the name was quite fitting for Halloween!) but unfortunately I had to order another one at 24 hr delivery (very expensive at £6.95) because I ended up using the first one I ordered myself. This probably sounds very selfish but when it arrived I smelt it, and couldn?t resist actually trying some on. After I had done this I realised I couldn?t give it to my friend so ordered another one. Anyway enough of my whinging about delivery costs etc let me tell you what ?Potion? is. ...  Read the complete review

I bought this to give as a present but I just couldn?t resist using it myself. It comes in a lovely black bottle that is not too cheap or expensive looking. It costs £5.75 for 250g, (about 250ml). Commendably Lush only use natural ingredients with the minimum of safe synthetics in their products so they don?t keep as long as other makes. On each bottle is a use by date (Potion lasts 14 months). Another nice feature is all the products are hand made and with the name of the maker on them. It?s nice to know my moisturiser was handmade in Poole by Lyn, it just makes it more personal. Lush products are not suitable for those with nut allergies, but most, including this one ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Subtle and soft, Lush Potion (257 words)

This is one of my favourite Lush products. There’s nothing worse than dry scaly skin on your legs after you’ve attacked them with the old razor, but heavy creams and lotions make me feel greasy and give you that tacky ‘my legs are sticking to my trousers’ experience – Lad’s, you’ll probably just have to trust me on this one! - Potion is light and easily absorbed but lasts for ages and smells out of this world. The smell is a mix of roses, carnations and tangerines – heavenly! It’s not overpowering but seems to linger subtly for most of the day. The sales pitch from Lush claims that tangerine and carnation ...  Read the complete review
