Lush Red Rice Soap

As some of you may know, I’m rather a big fan of Lush. But I am not blinkered. If something is bad, I will admit it and write a negative review about it. This is one such product. So all you anti-Lush folk (Lushites!) out there, you can sit back and smirk at this one! It’s not too often I criticise Lush. My favourite Lush products are the soaps. They are all vegetarian (and many are vegan), made from natural ingredients and not tested on animals at any stage. There are a huge variety of Lush soaps available, including some very unusual ones. Strange name, strange product. Interesting none the less. Although the suggestion from Lush is to use it on your hands when they need a good scrub (ie. when doing gardening or DIY), I have been using it in the shower. I didn't find that it is very exfoliating actually, you can't really feel it, but it does make your skin feel smoother, so it must be working. The smell is another unusual thing. With Lush you don't know what to expect next when it comes to the scents they use, but I'm usually pleasantly surprised. This time, well, I didn't really know how to respond to the fragrance.
