Advantages: Smells like a mixture of candy and vanilla
Disadvantages: Quite a girly soap
Anyone who has ever been into a Lush store would have noticed the huge cheese block style lumps of soaps stacked up when you enter. I have spent what seems like forever smelling all of these until I found one I wanted to leave on my bathroom sink.
I'm afraid to say im a bit of a cliche and love anything pink and girly but fortunately this soap has an amazing smell to back up the baby pink colour. Smelling like creamy candy bath, this is perfect for anyone who like me wants to smell like theyv overdosed on all things sugary and sweet. It has a creamy and quite strong candy scent, which lasts hours after you wash with it.
This soap is promoted as a hand and body wash, I personally use it to wash my hands and use a gel for the shower, just because theres nothing more infuriating than constantly having soap slip out of your hands whilst showering. It does leave your hands feeling clean and soft and smelling yummy!
Depending on which slice of the soap you get will alter what the appearance will look like, it tends to be a baby pink colour with some lighter patches going through. You can also choose how big a piece you want, I normally just pick up one of the pre-wrapped pieces in store. According to the Lush website an average piece will set you back about £2.80 which may seem quite expensive when you can get a basic bar from the supermarket for less than £1 but I find it worth the money as it lasts for ages, looks great and leaves a gentle scent wherever you use it to wash.
The description on the Lush website also promotes it as being vegan friendly:
The creamy vanilla sweetie one.
Here's a soap for all of us who know we ought to be attracted to sophisticated beiges and navy blues but can't help grabbing everything pink! The Rock Star soap smells just like Creamy Candy Bath so now you can shower as well as bathe with our sweet, vanilla perfume.
Summary: If you like all things pink and sweet its perfect

- 28/07/09 lol I prefer pink to beige anytime too!
am contemplating to buy in Lush with my own reusable boxes next time, to avoid any extra packaging (as far as I know clingwrap isn't recyclable, at least where I live) |
