Advantages: Nice smell, refreshing, good bottle
Disadvantages: Salt! Price not THAT good
Being very apprehensive about Lush shower gels (after not having very good experiences with any i have tried before) i was not at all tempted to buy this when Lush first brought it out. However, being such a Lushie and not wanting to completely dismiss their shower gels i decided to give this a try, particularly as i am usually too lazy to exfoliate and this has salt in it so you can wash and scrub at the same time.
First off the bottle is what you can usually expect with Lush, a simple bottle with minimum packaging (YAY!) The blue colour is very appealing, much like to the colours i normally buy (blue and green for aquatic smells) although i slightly amused to find all the salt was at the bottom of the bottle. Still, adamant i was going to buy it i bought the normal size bottle (medium as i use a LOT of shower gel ;)) and took it home. On first use i gave it a good shake to mix the salt up into the gel then used it as i would any other gel. It had a nice smell to it and left me feeling very refreshed and very clean. The salt didn't scrub me very much but my skin was glowing after my bath which means the ingredients in it (all natural of course!) work well for your skin.
I have however, experienced a few problems with it. Closing the top is hard as the salt clogs it up and is hard to clean out. This would be fine if it were not for the salt sifting down to the bottom and really hard to shake up so i left it on it's sideto mix in more and it leaked :( Also you still end up with a lot of salt at the bottom even with much shaking which means you have much less gel with each bottle meaning not very good value for money. All in all not very good.
Summary: Seens as other people have given good reviews on this it must be up to the person using it
