Advantages: Smells like orange tic tacs

Disadvantages: Will be gone after Christmas Booooooooooo!!!

As I've said in my recent Lush reviews I went into my local store and spent a vast majority of my student loan on the new Christmas products. Aside from all the presents and copious amounts of food, one of my favourite things about the festive season is all the goodies Lush bring out, and of course all my old faves such as Candy Cane and Snow Fairy.

I do tend to prefer the bubble bars rather than the ballistics, as I like my bath to have lots of bubbles (so I can make a bubble beard lol) but who can resist a Satsumo Santa.

Looking up from me in their rows, Santa caught my eye. Hes a big round santa shapped ballistic with a white face and a giant tum!! In comparrison to the other ballistics he is quite hefty, weighing in at 200g!

I had a quick sniff before popping him in my basket, but to be honest I didnt pick him because of the scent, it was all to do with the novelty factor which Lush always exceed any expectations I have before entering.

When bath time came, I simply popped him (I must stop giving my bath ballistic a gender) in and watched him fizzle away. My bath water was left a vibrant orangey red colour and had an amazing smell.

I wouldnt normally go for this type of scent, and if it would have been a regular round ballistic I may have passed it by. I usually stereotype citrusy scents to shower gels meant to invigorate, not a bath ball meant to soothe and relax, however im glad I proved myself wrong with this one.

It has a sweet orangey scent, not too overpowering but enough to help you drift into complete relaxation. It reminded me of the smell of orange tic tacs, a mix of sugar and orange YUMMMM!!

The thing I love about Lush products is how they have the power to make your whole house smell amazing, and this was no different. Unlike other bath ballistics it didnt leave scum around the bath, which is always a positive.

It may sound quite expensive at £2.75 but this would make a perfect stocking filler for someone special, or as a treat when you need a nice long soak.

There are Lush stores in most major cities now, my closest being 2 in Manchester City and Trafford Centre, however you can order online if you dont fancy a journey out.

The only downside to this product is that it is a Christmas product and will be gone before my xmas pudding weight has, however I hope it proves so popular they bring it out all year round.

Summary: A wonderful bathtime treat
