Lush Sexy Peel Soap

Description: Brand: Lush / Type: Body Soap / Wake up to the revitalising smells of fresh lemon, grapefruit and lime juice soap.

... interesting, and thought that the scent would smell nice and refreshing in the shower and would hopefully wake me up a bit in the morning. I have mainly used Lush's sweeter soaps in the past, and thought that something with a sourer citrusy aroma would make a nice change. The small bar of soap lathered as well as any other soap in the shower, and the citrusy smell was nice and strong in the hot air and water of the shower. I can't say that it made me feel more awake, but it definitely didn't make me more tired like some ...more

Premium Review Lush Sexy Peel Soap: Sexy Peel Me. (1274 words)

<Background> A while ago I sent my other half off with a list of Lush products to buy and the money to get them. He came home rather pleased with himself having got what I wanted with an added extra, there was an offer on that Lush do every so often, a free 100 gram block of soap of your choice. He was unsure which to get as the free bar so one of the assistants suggested her favourite Sexy Peel. After a quick sniff my other half liked it and knew that I would too. <The product> Had this been bought it would have cost £2.25 per 100 grams. As Lush makes their soaps in big moulds and cut off slices/chunks to the ...  Read the complete review

Like many Dooyoo users, I used to be a total Lush addict. For some reason, however, I hadn't bought anything from them for a few months until a few months ago, when I found myself irresistibly drawn to venturing into its sweet smelling domain once again. What tempted me in was the Fresher's Box offer, which gave you eight Lush items for only £10. Of course, you couldn't just pick whatever eight items you wanted, but the choice was still pretty good: one facemask, one shampoo bar, two toner tabs, a moisturiser sample, a body scrub and two 50g pieces of soap. The overall savings wasn't immense when you consider that you only get small bars of soap, and the fact that toner ...  Read the complete review

I never used to be a soap fan because, what was so 'sexy' about a bar of soap? Images of Dove hand soap from when I was little spring to mind, nothing fun or fabulous about it, and more images of dried skin after washing with a bar of soap spring to mind. These impressions changed when I came across Lush's range of soaps. With fun names, gorgeous sounding ingredients, wonderful smells and funky shapes you can't really complain at all about a bar of Lush soap! With so many scents to choose from it can be hard to choose one, but if you choose Sexy Peel, you will certainly be a happy customer! Lush soaps are all made from a palm free soap base. ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Lush and sexy. (248 words)

I have reviewed a good few Lush products now both good and bad, this Lush sexy peel soap is definitely a good one. It is Lemon yellow in appearance and actually looks like lemon bits you get floating in diluting juice squashed together into a soap bar. It has a very fresh lemon smell, not too tangy and just right in my opinion, the smell transfers well to the skin and is fairly long lasting. Lush have it dead right when they say that this will wake you up in the mornings, a shower with this of a morning brings me right to life and ready for the day ahead. It is a cheap soap when considered to many other Lush soaps at only ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Lush Sexy Peel Soap: Peel away for a sexier, happier you (944 words)

My Lush Christmas box is slowly becoming depleted. Yesterday I decided that I would give my Sexy Peel soap a try as I had run out of shower gel in the ensuite shower room and I would have had to go downstair to the other bathroom to get some more. Me...lazy? Well yes I am and it was too cold to go downstairs. So the first thing I noticed about this little piece of soap was that there was citrus peel on the outside - there was lemon and orange peel so it looked quite pretty. This also proved to be quite a gentle exfoliator. Now what I wasn't sure about was did this peel go all the way through the bar or was it just on the top. Please bear in mind that ...  Read the complete review
