Advantages: Made from lovely ingredients and it smells amazing! Good lather too.

I never used to be a soap fan because, what was so 'sexy' about a bar of soap? Images of Dove hand soap from when I was little spring to mind, nothing fun or fabulous about it, and more images of dried skin after washing with a bar of soap spring to mind.
These impressions changed when I came across Lush's range of soaps.

With fun names, gorgeous sounding ingredients, wonderful smells and funky shapes you can't really complain at all about a bar of Lush soap! With so many scents to choose from it can be hard to choose one, but if you choose Sexy Peel, you will certainly be a happy customer!

Lush soaps are all made from a palm free soap base. What's wrong with good old palm oil I hear you say? Well Lush, ever conscious of the environment, took a trip to Indonesia and discovered that Palm Oil plantations are destroying some of the most important habitats of our wonderful planet, most of these plantations are in areas, which were once covered in lush tropical rainforests. So you can feel a bit better about buying your Lush soap!

Lush's Sexy Peel Soap smells of wonderful citrus fruits, not surprising to find then that it contains Orange Peel, Lime Peel, Orange Juice and Lemon Juice (all organice of course!). The soap is orange in colour and one side of it contains the orange peel. This is perfect for gently scrubbing and exfoliating your skin, removing all of those dead skin cells! The other side is perfectly smooth, lovely to smooth over your body in the shower (or bath!) whilst enjoying the gorgeous citrus smells. The soap produces a nice lather, without much effort or scrubbing, and over time the scent does not simply fade away but stays as strong as ever.

After my shower or bath my skin feels smooth, smells great, and certainly hasn't been dried out by the soap!
I've found this soap to be long lasting, I've had it for weeks and there is still tons left to be used! The orange peel is still as good as ever, and the soft and smooth side is still just as good. This soap will be in your shower for a while yet!

Grab some of this soap from a local Lush store, prices vary depending on the size you want cut, or you can order it from the Lush website for £2.91. Of course this soap really isn't suitable if you dislike fruity or citrus smells!
