I was trying to make room in my freezer for my shopping the other day, when lurking beneath the frozen peas, I found a box of this, Lush's Skinny Dip Butter Cream! I bought it ages ago, and as I had a lot of other shower gels on the go at the time, I put this in the freezer to keep it fresh and then forgot it was there. As I'm trying to use all my products up before buying any more, it was nice to have something 'new' to use, so I promptly defrosted this for use in the bath later that night! So what is a butter cream anyway? Well it's basically like a soap, but Lush use 20% soap and 80% 'butters, oils and infusions' to make it really moisturising and ... Read the complete review

One of the best things about Lush is their freebies, every time I go on a shopping spree I come out with a few testers of one thing and another that I want to sample as a sort of try before you buy and sometimes I am lucky enough to get a decent sized portion of something to make it last. That is what happened with Lush Skinny Dip. One of my must have's is not some boring brand of samey looking soap sitting in my bathroom, but something which is funky, bold and exciting. I?m a huge fan of Lush products and aim to try something different each time I go on a shopping expedition on their online store. Almost every single time, the new thing I?ve tried has turned into a favourite. One that hasn?t, however, is Lush Skinny Dip body wash. Actually Skinny Dip isn?t classed as a body wash or bath/shower gel, but as a skin conditioner. Therefore, it not only washes, but smooths and moisturises the skin as well. I was attracted to Skinny Dip by the description: ?How would you like to smooth melted white chocolate, creamed coconuts and many exotically scented essential oils all over your body?. Well that sounded pretty ... Read the complete review

This is the worst butter cream going - seriously it smells awful!!! The giant cake looks great in the shop but once you get close to it, my god does it pong!!! You can smell coconut in it but I expected it to smell a lot more coconutty than it does. In fact the things I can smell most are cloves and clary sage which do not go well together! It has a layer of grated coconut on the top which is where most of the coconut smell comes from because when you smell a bit of this without the topping on it, it is really hard to pick up any coconut smell. Like all other butter creams it is firm but a bit squidgy and very hard to handle, I put my ... Read the complete review
