I love hand creams. I have so many hand creams, but I only use some of them. I use the Lush Smitten Hand Cream every night before I go to bed to make my hands nice and soft. -About the Product- Smitten is made by Lush, a very popular store that makes hand made products, and is against animal testing. They have a range of products, including bath bombs, shower gels, shampoos, conditioners, massage bars, body creams and lip balms. Lush products are generally quite expensive, but it's sometimes worth treating yourself to something nice! Smitten is a hand cream that is designed for using during the day to keep your hands soft. "One touch and you're ... Read the complete review

Now I've already done a review on Helping Hands which is one of Lush's other hand cream and also the one hand cream I'm slightly obsessive about! But then again I'm quite obsessive about all Lush products, no matter what they are! I'm a long time supporter of Smitten and it has it's own little place in my handbag. I use two handcreams purely because I can! Smitten hand lotion isn't as intensive as Lush's Helping Hands lotion; Helping Hands is an excellent reparative lotion for dry, aged hands, while Smitten is better used to simply boost or maintain overall moisture and softness. I use Helping Hands at night and if I'm seeing clients Helping Hands gives an ... Read the complete review

£5.82 is all I paid for this 100gram pot from Lush. And it was well worth it! Its a hand cream which has the same almond scent as the Snowcake soap apparently- I have not smelt the Snowcake soap so I don't know but that's what the Lush crew told me as I was lured to an open pot. The name for the cream comes from the word 'mitten'. Like gloves, mittens protect your hands and this is one of the aims of the cream, which you are required to use daily to get the desired effect. I love this hand cream as the scent is delicious-very warm and gentle but very prominent. It breather up at you as soon as you open the lid! It does not smell like ... Read the complete review

I must admit I'm not usually one to use hand creams, I usually find them greasy and annoying if they don't sink in absolutely immediately, and I don't tend to suffer from particularly dry hands most of the time anyway. But when I got a little bottle of Smitten as part of a gift set included in my grab bag (an amazing offer which is sadly now over), I figured I had to try it, in the interests of reviewing if nothing else. Cliche as this sounds, I truly am smitten! The odds were all against me to not like it. I already don't find hand creams particularly necessary (for me) and am not a fan of almond smells, which this has. But somehow, maybe Lush ... Read the complete review

Ive been hearing good things about this Lush hand cream for a while so when I had some spare pennies I went and got some. Ok so firstly a 100g tub costs £5.82 and the website says that it is a light daytime cream which smells the same as snowcake soap. Smitten is made with natural oils and butters for a longer term benefit and the main ingredients are specifically almond oil (which is why it smells so much like marzipan!), marigold, flaxseed oil, cocoa butter, avocado oil and extra virgin coconut oil. Ok so to look at the cream is a creamy vanilla colour and a nice thick consistancy but not too thick or buttery which could end up making it more ... Read the complete review
