It's not often I buy seasonal products, but I was kindly given a tub of snow showers from Lush a couple of weeks ago. Having never used a shower jelly before, I can honestly say I didn't know how to use it. The sleek black tub that the product comes in thankfully tells you how to store and use these weird looking products. For anyone like me having never used a shower jelly before, I'll briefly explain what they are. In place of your normal shower gel, this jelly substance acts the same way as a shower gel, you're just holding a lump of product rather than a liquid. You can use these shower jellies straight from the freezer, fridge or room temperature. ... Read the complete review

Every year for the holidays, Lush introduces numerous seasonal products that are only available for a few months. Then, come January, they have a huge clearance sale and everything is gone. Some products, like Snowcake Soap, come back year after year while others make a single appearance and are never seen again. A few years ago Lush introduced three shower jellies: Jingle Jelly, Champagne Snow Showers and Gold, Frankincense and Beer. I've only tried the first and second, something about bathing in beer really doesn't get me excited! This review is about Champagne Snow Showers and my dissappointing experience! I've used quite a few shower jellies but after ... Read the complete review

Well, it appears that most of the country has had an influx of snow today and where I live is no different. We haven't had a huge amount, certainly not as much as we sometimes get, but my boss has decided to close the school, effectively giving me the day off so I'm not going to argue with that. In honour of this unexpected snow day I've decided that I will review LUSH Snowshowers Shower Jelly as it seems an appropriate review to write with the cold stuff piling up at the windows. I didn't used to be a fan of shower jellies at all In fact, when I first tried one I think I managed to drop more of it down the plughole than I actually got on my ... Read the complete review

I bought all three of the Lush Christmas shower jellies this year, and had liked the first two I'd tried, so was looking forward to giving this one a go. A shower jelly is just that - a shower gel made in the form of jelly. Some of the jellies -like Ghost and Strawberry Santa - come moulded into a particular shape, but Snow Showers - or Champagne Snow Showers, as it is called on the front of the tub - comes in a big rectangular block, of which a piece is cut off, similar to the way Lush sell their soaps. I ordered mine via the mail order number and it came in a little oval shaped plastic pot. This jelly is white in colour and not translucent like ... Read the complete review

I am fairly new to lush products so I decided to purchase one of their grabbit bag offers where you spend £5 and got £15 worth of products. One of the products in my particular bag was the snow showers shower jelly. This was a christmas offer and so I don't think it would be available to purchase at other times of the year. This product is aimed for shower users as you can tell by the title but as I am not a fan of showers so I used it in the bath. The shower jelly itself came packaged in a cardboard box with a small clear panel on the side so you can view the jelly. It is literally a jelly and reminds me of the food jelly you get in packets before you mix ... Read the complete review
