Another one of my Christmas presents was this soap in a Lush gift set. I'm reviewing this as A) Dooyoo never added this link at Christmas time and B) people may be looking on here next Christmas for presents and this is on sale every Christmas! Of course this like other products Lush sell isn't tested on animals and derived from natural oils etc. Appearance And Smell.... Well it's white and smooth and dense to the touch. The smell is very sweet with a smell of marzipan and roses to it. Quite talc like but very pretty and highly fragranced. Using It.... Well like with all the Lush soaps you really should cut a piece of the block ... Read the complete review

Recently I have had a few Lush items from EBay, generally items that you can't obtain in store or online anymore and one of these was Snowcake soap. This has been a limited edition Christmas soap in 1999, 2000, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007 & 2008 - Snowcake manages to make a comeback by popular demand every Christmas, though in 2001 it was sold as "Big Ed Soap" in the shape of a snowman's "big head." This wonderful soap keeps making an appearance every year just because it is so fabulous, so why doesn't Lush make it a permanent fixture?! But anyway as soon as I saw it on EBay I had to have it as it has been a good few months since not ... Read the complete review

Deeper into my Lush grab bag I delved (an amazing special offer they ran last week - spend £15 and get £50 worth of stuff - actually more like £70 when I added it up!) and came across yet another bar of Snowcake soap. In total between the two grab bags I bought, I ended up with five bars of the stuff, in gift sets or alone. Five bars. I had sniffed the soap once at my mum's and didn't think much to it, and here I was with a veritable crapload of it. Strangely, having had my Lush bags sitting around my bedroom for a few days, I seemed to have got used to the smell. Using my Smitten hand cream (with the same scent) had also helped me prepare to try it out and ... Read the complete review

The only time I ever buy solid soaps is when Lush brings out something I just cannot resist buying, other than that I prefer the more hygienic liquid soaps from pump dispensers. One Lush soap that found me buying a solid block soap was the delicious smelling, beautiful looking Lush snowcake soap. This soap can only be found during the festive period in Lush stores and it is one I shall miss throughout the year. It is a beautiful white soap that gives a thick creamy white lather and smells just divine. It has a sweet almond scent that I just loved and it left no ill effects on my skin, no dryness and no irritation which is good because I ... Read the complete review

I was very lucky to be given a gift box from Lush last year for Christmas. Amoung all the goodies was a bar of this Snowcake soap. I'm not a lover of solid bars of soap, so I've been using this as hand soap in my bathroom. What Lush say about this product: Smells like the irresistible almond icing on your cake: feels like almond mousse on your skin. Snowcake, possibly the smoothest, creamiest soap Lush makes, returns for its annual trip home for the Christmas holidays. Why don't we keep it all year round? Well - it wouldn't be quite so special, would it? If we got Christmas every day (despite what Wizzard sang) we might get bored with it. This way, ... Read the complete review
