Advantages: Lovely smell, cruelty free

Disadvantages: None for me!

For me, the smell of Snowcake is as evocative of Christmas as satsumas, mince pies and pine needles! I think this is in part due to the almond essense content, which reminds me of the marzipan on a Christmas cake, and also because it is only on sale in the festive season. It does crop up in some Christmas gift boxes so I try to stock up on it to see me through dreary January.

Of course, this limited availability makes it all the more desirable, and it has become a must in my house over Christmas. We use it as a hand soap and, like most Lush soaps, it fragrances the whole bathroom. It is very creamy and would be ideal in the shower as well.

If you don't like marzipan, you might not like this soap. For me, as a marzipan fan and a confirmed Lush addict, just about the only way they could improve it would be to coat it in chocolate!
