I'm reasonably new to Lush bath ballistics, so love trying new ones at the moment. I have a few firm favourites already and I'm not sure whether this will be added to the list or not yet. Snowdrops is one of the larger sized ballistics, not like the smaller variety such Butterball and Twinkle. I find a ballistic this size easily lasts for two baths. I tend to cut / hack mine in half and use half at a time. I also find that some of the ballistics which contain 'floaty' bits are best used inside a muslin bag - or a soap bag. The ballistic easily dissolves and has' it's full opportunity to fizz, and I don't end up covered in bits of leaves, cloves, or a smartie - ... Read the complete review

I recently visited Lush and as I had heard that the Snowdrop bath ballistic can help to cure a cold I thought i'd pick a couple up. These ballistics are the regular spherical shape and are white in colour, on my one you could see the big sugar crystals poking out the side, but nothing else. I took a sniff in the bag and the smell of mint instantly hit me - these ballistics are supposed to smell of madarin, grapefruit and mint although all I could really smell was the mint! When I put the ballistic into the bath I could have sworn it fizzed away faster than any others I have tried - although this isn't an issue. Straight away the smell of very ... Lush's 2008 Christmas range hit the shop in October - a bit early for getting into the yuletide spirit, methinks! However, with December almost upon us I figure we're about there, especially with so many products to get through ;) I'm like a kid in a sweetie shop with all the new Lush stuff to try out, and this - white (albeit sparkly!) and therefore not *too* festive - seemed like a good place to start. The scent of the Snowdrops is a strange mix: mint, yes, but with mandarin and grapefruit - what?! And yet it did appeal: a bit 'out there', but fresh and tingly and waking-up-ish (even though I take baths before bed!). To say the smell is a bit heady is rather ... Read the complete review

This is another of the new Lush Christmas products that I have recently tried. Like a few other of the Christmas products I ordered, my first Snowdrop ballistic was slightly ruined when my Strawberry Santa Jelly melted and leaked all over it, turning one side of it pink! Thankfully Lush have sent me a replacement! The snowdrop ballistic, as the name may suggest, is white in colour. Although this does not give it the prettiest or most fun appearance - especially when you compare it to some of the other Lush ballistics - it does contain large sugar crystals and iridescent glitter, which make it slightly remind me of a big snowball, which I think gives the ... I got one Snowdrops bath ballistic last Christmas, having loved the description in the Xmas Lush Times. With mandarin, grapefruit and peppermint oils, it really did sound like it could be "the most amazing, life affirming Ballistic ever to sneak up on you and give you the slap in the face you need (metaphorically speaking of course)", so I put it on my wishlist and was delighted to recieve one, especially when I lifted it to my nose and inhaled. The scent was gorgeous but I also got that sensation of the vapours rushing up my nose like you get when you smell Vicks Vapor Rub or eat wasabi. Sadly, the original sniffing took place a good few months ... Read the complete review
